As a fellow therapist, I highly recommend CK. I value her work so much that I continue to learn from her weekly through case consultation and collaboration. She is highly skilled, intelligent, compassionate, and down-to-earth. Her authenticity and sense of humor help create a safe, comfortable space where clients can grow and thrive. She is especially adept at working with the LGBTQIA+ community, trauma recovery, existential and spiritual concerns, and relational dynamics—including non-monogamy, open relationships, and sex-positive/kink-allied work. Her eclectic, feminist, relational, and depth-oriented approach is inclusive and thoughtful, helping clients uncover underlying patterns and create meaningful, lasting change. I’m incredibly grateful for the knowledge and insight she continues to share. Thank you, CK, for helping me become a better therapist for my own clients.

I highly recommend CK for therapy. Based on my experience, she is highly qualified, an expert in psychotherapy, focuses really well and has the best intentions in mind. She is patient, empathetic, goal-oriented, organized, great listener and very communicative which I really appreciate in a professional!

Cannot say enough good things about CK! I started seeing her during a really tough time in my life and felt like from the moment I walked into her office, she was genuinely invested in hearing what I had to say and helping me grow. She's got a great way of helping you work thorough problems, anxieties, and fears without feeling judged. I've seen other therapists in the past and for me, CK has been the first who really helped me frame the events of my life in such a way that I could process and learn from them. I've laughed, I've cried, and I've definitely learned a lot from CK. Thank you!!!

My experience with CK has been great. This last year working with her has been my greatest year of growth. In fact I've changed my personal goals because I realized I didn't want enough for my self. I have been in therapy in the past and made some progress with where I wanted to be in my life, but didn't achieve the results I had really wished for. Therapy can be hard at times and ultimately it takes internal motivation to make change, but a great therapist can help you see through where you are stuck. As a Dr. of Psychology, she doesn't prescribe drugs, like a Psychiatrist, (MD), does, but most people, even those of us who experienced long term childhood trauma, can come out the other side happy and healthy. Because the internal work I did and because of our honest communication, she helped me reach a place where I'm in the healthiest relationship of my life. And while a lot of the work came from me taking personal responsibility for my present and future, it was the support I got from her that made me reach higher.

After several years and many different therapists, I saw Dr. CK Blackmore and received the first breakthrough in processing my past. Her kind, entertaining, and positive demeanor was always inviting and her understanding of my own personal challenges has helped me to grow as a person. I’m very grateful for my time with her.

If you’ve been searching for someone to truly listen, then look no further. In my time with CK, I have learned to build trust, sincerity, and security both within myself, and with those around me. Attentive and warm, she is both genuinely passionate and dedicated to her practice. Hours of understanding and insightful reflections are solid evidence of such. I am eternally grateful for the guidance and safety she has provided me over the years, and can state with absolute certainty that she is a wise, professional therapist. --

CK is an incredible therapist and I am so lucky I found her. I have no doubt that she treats people from all walks of life with the same care. I came to CK in the acute aftermath of sexual violence and abuse. She helped me stay alive, get back to work, move past the experience, and thrive as a human being. She uses a mix of science-backed advanced techniques, talk therapy, empathy and insightful wry humor. She is an angel on earth. I wish as many people could benefit from such high quality therapy.
