Working with Vera was a truly transformative experience. She created a safe, supportive space and helped me reconnect with my body in a way I hadn’t before. Her approach was both compassionate and knowledgeable, always taking the time to explain the “why” behind the work. I left each session feeling stronger, more aware, and genuinely supported in my healing.
When I began assembling my wellness team for pregnancy, I didn’t realize how crucial a pelvic physical therapist would be until after giving birth. Although I started working with Vera postpartum, I genuinely wish I had sought her help during my pregnancy. Vera has been an absolute delight to work with—she brings a wealth of knowledge, genuine care, and creates personalized plans that truly cater to your needs. The home visits were particularly invaluable for us. There were times when I couldn’t find someone to watch my baby, and Vera was always there to lend a hand. Her commitment and affection for her patients truly set her apart. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any pregnant woman or mom!
Thee best in the biz. Years of a nagging injury with multiple visits to physical therapy and doc consultations left me in a position where I didn’t think I’d ever get better. Enter Vera and her services. She came up with an in depth consultation and found the roots of my issues after the first visit. Within a few months of consistent care I started noticing genuine results. She is worth every penny she will charge you. Don’t hesitate and take charge of your health because she will provide the compassionate, 1-on-1 care every patient needs in this day and age. Awesome doctor and she even comes to you! Can’t beat that in this world. I will trust her with any of ailments moving forward. 😀
Dr. Vera was so instrumental in both preparing me for labor as well as ensuring I recovered as quickly and effectively after birth. I began seeing Dr. Vera about halfway through my pregnancy and every session we had she was so helpful in facilitating mind body connection with my pelvic floor and providing me with tips and exercises to practice in between sessions. I can without a doubt say my labor would not have been the same without my work with Dr. Vera and I had the exact birthing experience I had hoped for due to being so in sync with my body and aware of exactly what it needed throughout the process. After birth, we continued meeting to fine tune some core connection work and I now feel even more effective at targeting the correct areas during workouts. On top of all that, Dr Vera was so kind and compassionate and always took the time to listen to not only what was going on with me physically, but also mentally and emotionally. I still send her pictures of my little one because I truly don’t think his entrance into the world would have been the same without her!
I started working with Dr Vera a few months into my pregnancy and the tips and tools I learned from her I truly believe I will use for the rest of my life! She is so knowledgeable, kind and caring which is all I could have asked for during my first pregnancy. After my son was born via unplanned c section she reached out and checked in and helped me process through the birth physically and emotionally, which showed how much she cared for me and my family! The postpartum visits have been so helpful for me to reconnect with my body and start building my strength again. I would highly recommend her to anyone prenatal or postnatal!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vera. I hired Vera for physical therapy about 1 year postpartum. At that time, I was suffering from postpartum depression, lack of energy and a feeling that I lacked healing and body-confidence after well after giving birth to my second child. Vera's approach was completely customized to what I needed. Not only did she travel to my house, which made seeing her possible in my busy schedule, but she was open to whatever I was feeling called to work on that day. She immediately began instilling confidence and belief in my body's healing after one session of working with her. I saw quick changes in the way I held my body in daily activities, and soon found the confidence to consistently get back to my exercise routine. Vera always followed up after each session with detailed recommendations, and made herself available between each session for ongoing support. Her approach is soft and compassionate yet motivating. I would highly recommend Vera for all prenatal and postpartum support - do not wait as long as I did to hire her! She is incredible!
Dr. Vera helped my postpartum recovery and much more. She helped correct pain that I had lived with for years and create consistent health in my pelvic floor. The knowledge and exercises gained from therapy gave me tools to use in my day to day life. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to have a healthy pelvic floor.
If you're wondering if you should book an appointment with Vera, the answer is yes. I first sought out Vera's help with c-section scar mobility and she ended up helping me with so much more that I know will serve me for the rest of my life. Women's bodies, minds, and psyches are so impacted throughout pregnancy and postpartum, and Vera's ability to figure out what i was struggling with felt therapeutic in more ways than one! Working with her was just what I needed to feel more confidence when working out that I am correctly engaging my low abs and managing the breath/pressure in my abdomen during workouts and throughout daily life.
I cannot recommend Vera enough! As I physical therapist myself I am very particular about who I work with. I started working with Vera when I was pregnant and she helped me so much. I learned how to hold and release my belly, stand and workout properly just to make a few. Toward the end of my pregnancy she actually taught me how to push…. Who knew you could learn that before go time?!? If all that wasn’t enough Vera was incredible post delivery. Helping me feel confident in my healing and reconnect with my body and pelvic floor. The best part about working with Vera is she comes to me. I get care in the comfort of my home and don’t have to worry about packing the baby and myself up. Please ladies, do yourself a favor and Invest in pelvic Pt. You deserve to not pee your pants or have pain.
I have had the experience of not only being treated by Vera after the birth of my third child but also as a colleague in continuing education. Vera is amazing as a human, a knowledgeable PT, a caring provider, and shares her expertise. She makes herself available for questions over the phone and email, she does home visits and always willing to help colleagues see patients in clinic. She is amazing. I am happy know her as a friend and I totally trust her with my body. Thank you! I 100% recommend her.
