I am currently a resident at Pathfinders and have been for 2 1/2 months now. I have tried many other programs before, and there has been no better help than Pathfinders. They not only help you abstain from alcohol and/or other drugs, but they will assist you.on getting back on your feet and even drive you ro appointments. I went from being a scared man coming in to actually becoming the house monitor for the Dale st. House and am enrolled into UCSD. There is no.program like this in San Diego.
I was grateful for my time at Dale House. I used my time to get back on track. I had some sort of appointment almost everyday. I worked the program. A model client, in my opinion. The problems, for me, was with my housemates. Dealing with mental illness, some severe and were not addressed. No punishment given for obvious, daily infractions. I brought these issues to the staff only to hear, “Yea, wait until so and so get in”. Then nothing was done. Also, I don’t think having only one year of sobriety qualifies a person to be a PAID counselor. Just my opinion. I was grateful for the time I had there to get my shit together. Looking back, I wouldn’t do it again. Maybe more harm than good psychologically.
I Love the Beef Lettuce Wraps they serve here !!
Best Program in America! Period!
Pathfinders saves lives, and better than that, CHANGES lives. Its alumni pool is loaded with happy, successful people who are making the world a better place with their contributions to it. And it was Pathfinders that set those men on their positive course. In my humble opinion, Pathfinders is an exemplary model for what residential SUD treatment should be.
One of the best substance abuse treatment centers in the world!
Thank you Guys so Much! I love what Pathfinders can do. They really save lives, if you need help please reach out
In the business of saving lives, in a clean and stable environment in a nice neighborhood and nice house with staff who treat you like human beings, knowing that everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance. And not only do they help with recovery, but they help with everything you could possibly need from doctors, dentist, taxes, housing, outpatient, finding meetings, case management and more. I think it is the oldest facility of the like in San Diego county.
I only gave Pathfiders 5 stars because there wasn't an option for 6. Pathfinders saved my life. Period! The "old-timers" like Mike, Steve and Joe laid it out to me in the simplest terms: surrender or die. I was in a downward spiral, and if not for the efforts of the staff and the fellowship of AA, I would not be here today. God bless Pathfinders of San Diego.
Called an individual I have known for over 20 yrs ...he's consistently relapsing on meth and what ever he can get...gave him praise whe he went into treatment.... I tried calling the residential treatment house in cedar...the ofc rep said " dont call him at this number use the house number." I replied " what's the house number "... he then hung up on me.... Wow that's progress not perfection Good luck with that
