Dr. Deam has been a lifesaver for my adult son. Unlike other psychiatrists, he is patient, listens intently to both my son, myself and my wife, and doesn’t just prescribe medication and send a bill. He takes a holistic approach, focusing on my son's overall quality of life and stability. We finally feel like we are in capable, caring hands and have a real partner in my son’s mental health journey. Cannot recommend him enough.

I switched to Dr. Jon Deam when my meds and depression were taking over and nothing was working. He's the only psychichiatrist I have ever looked forward to seeing. He is one of the only ones that seems to understand and respect my personal journey and also helps me to see things in a different light. If you want to be misdiagnosed, this is the place for you. It is all fake. When you walk in, they have all kinds of things that have to do with Buddhism and mindfulness and what have you but they don’t understand any of it. It is just for show. I came to Dr. Deam because I needed medicine that I could no longer get due to new laws, his solution to everything is a pill. I called one day to tell his assistant that I was going to. Plane to somewhere They said, did you want the doctor to write you a prescription for something to help you sleep… No! Stop with the pills. When I first went there, he was not doing ketamine therapy but now he is ketamine therapy might work for some people, but it takes a long time and a lot of money. I saw him for three years and I don’t think he listened to a word that I said, he might’ve listened and remembered a few, but he doesn’t write anything down no notes and he is very quick to misdiagnose. I was going at breakneck speed to get out of the United States and come back to Thailand where I used to live. I needed a letter to get me out of my lease from him. He didn’t think it would work. he didn’t write the letter correctly. I needed to spend time on the phone with him telling him the right words to use because the words he used made no sense. The letter got me out of the lease just like I thought it would. I was 90% certain it would he didn’t think it would help I had to beg him over and over again to write the letter correctly. I was sending him things that had to do with my life and what was going on, but it wasn’t until recently that I found out he doesn’t watch everything he skims through it Until he gets the gist… But how can he understand if he doesn’t watch the whole thing at least watch until the end. I finally got out of the United States had already terminated my contract with him and he sent me an email telling me that he was worried about me and concerned that I was manic and other things. He doesn’t know what he’s doing when it comes to psychiatry. He knows what pills will work for you and will happily inject you with ketamine but told me that I should stop smoking weed. So if you are looking for a drug dealer, this is the place if you are looking for someone who understands life and might be able to help you Without a prescription I recommend you find Someone else. At this point, I am seriously questioning whether or not he is a doctor.

Dr. Jon is amazing. I met with three different highly rated doctors and left those appointments feeling rushed, unheard and honestly pretty frustrated. When I had my first meeting with Dr. Jon it was a completely different experience; he has a unique approach where he offers his patients medical management, coaching and therapy. This makes so much more sense vs. meeting with a Dr for 15 minutes, getting a prescription and just hoping it works out okay. My appointment was an hour and he asked all the right questions, LISTENED and was able to offer support and a game plan at the end of the appointment. If you're looking for a new doctor or therapist, definitely give Aveo wellness a call. 10/10!

Dr. Deam is an amazing person. He is a great listener and he explains your feeling and emotions, and the reasons really really well. He puts your feeling in perspective. Even though he has a number of patients, he remembers the details from last visits and follow-up on them regularly. He is not just treating for the current problem but he tries to find the root cause for the problem and focus on eliminating them for a better healthier life. I would highly recommend him.
