Marty is incredible - in terms of expertise, professionalism, and relational skill! He has helped me with issues in my foot and shoulder and I always feel improvement immediately that continues after the treatment. I highly recommend him
Great learning expirience at the clases. Thank you!
I have been going to Marty for now 13 years...he is the absolute best, and a true healer… and an added update he is again seeing clients at the 870 Market (Flood Building) location…😃
I've been seeing Marty for years now. After years of bodily abuse from a wide range of sports I first started seeing Marty after being referred by a friend. I've been in and out of chiropractors offices and clinical massage practices for the past 20 years and am very familiar with targeted therapeutic work. After receiving the 10 series and subsequent add on sessions I can confidently say that Marty's approach is absolutely top notch and is the first person I call for an appointment when old injuries or new come up.
Marty is San Francisco's premiere Rolfing Massage Therapist. He has helped me immensely heal from an old and persistent injury. Marty will work with your specific needs and I guarantee you will see improvement quickly. Book an appointment now!
Marty is a tremendous healer. He has been able to quickly figure out what's awry in my body, and then deftly persuade my body to adopt new positions. He's tremendously kind as well, which dovetails with his approach to massage and body work.
Marty is very good at what he does. As a dancer and someone who is very in tune with my body, I really appreciate a good massage therapist, especially with all that I do. Thank you, Marty, for always giving 100% and for giving such great massages. I can't recommend Marty enough!
Marty is one of those individuals who has found his true calling. I honestly don’t know how he manages to achieve the results he does, but if my experience in working with him for three sessions bears any resemblance to the outcomes he gets with all of his clients than I would say: Trust this man’s magic hands! After he worked on my hips, lower back, and chronic shoulder pain the next day my shoulder felt as if I had never sustained an injury at all, and while riding my bike I suddenly realized, “Wow! I feel so powerful and energetic all of the sudden” (only later connecting the dots to the work with Marty the day before)… and that was after just 1 hour! For my third session I arrived after two weeks with a strange and very uncomfortable pain in my left forearm that just sprung up one morning out of the blue (likely from a previous sprained wrist). An hour later and the sensation had completely vanished. This is not hyperbole—Marty is seriously talented! I have no doubt that if you’ve been suffering with any number of acute or chronic painful conditions there he can likely help you to feel better efficiently. At this point the majority of my chronic issues have subsided but Im going to buy another 3-pack and keep working with him just to see how much better I might eventually feel in my body with more of his careful attention. I can not recommend him enough. It is worth every last penny!
Marty has helped me through the majority of the curve balls I’ve thrown at him. From old, nagging, chronic injuries (hips, neck, shoulder) to acute spasms (low back, ribs), his approach has always brought ease back into my body in a profound way. A really unique part of Marty’s work is the way that he holds space. He has a real knack for acknowledging the seriousness of being trusted to work on my injuries while still being able to keep the energy in the session light and nurturing, even when I’m in the most intense pain. I’ve also always appreciated Marty’s ability to listen to my body, as well. He has the amazing insight to know when I need more work in an area and when I am all done. I rarely leave his sessions feeling overworked or disintegrated, which isn’t an easy feat for my sensitive system. Long story short, I highly recommend Marty’s work! I’ve received an absurd amount of bodywork from a variety of practitioners and modalities and I would say, by far, Marty’s work and style resonates with my body the most. I hope you give yourself the opportunity to experience his work!
Incredibly attentive and patient, Marty will listen to the entire context of your situation on top of providing you with clear explanations of his observations and techniques to fix your problem. One visit was worth more than the 4 years of doctor visits I suffered through. Wonderful person who deeply cares about healing you ❤️
