Sliding scale, affordable therapy with clinicians who deeply care about the well-being of their clients. Highly recommend!

Beautiful space staffed with kind hearted, warm therapists and staff. One of the few spaces in SF that offers affordable therapy in person and via telehealth. As a fellow therapist in the community, my training here was invaluable. I frequently refer people to Pierce ICC with absolute confidence they will receive quality care.

I have had a great experience with Pierce St ICC. The therapist I was paired with has been warm, empathetic, and intelligent. She kindly challenges me to take a look at and change the patterns I have been stuck in for so long. I appreciate the sliding scale cost and the flexibility to do sessions in person or virtually. I strongly recommend this clinic!

I love everything about this clinic. Pierce offers a holistic approach to therapy I find super helpful for doing deep, transformational work. They are very affordable, offer sliding scale therapy. I would highly recommend therapy here to anyone!

In my experience, Pierce Street Integral Counseling Center is a place where clinicians in training are genuinely present and invested in the people they work with, with services offered on a sliding scale to increase accessibility

ICC matched me with the best therapist I have ever worked with. Plus having in-person therapy is such a gift these days - and in a gorgeous, easily accessible building with a view of the park to boot. The sliding scale pricing is accessible to me as a student, too. Very grateful to have found this place!

I didn’t want to write this review, but after sitting with what happened for days and realizing how much it affected my well-being, I feel compelled to share my experience. We have been in couples therapy with Sarah Eckhardt for several months. Throughout that time, I consistently felt that the therapy was biased toward my partner’s concerns, while mine were minimized or not meaningfully addressed. I tried to be patient and trusting of the process, but the imbalance became increasingly difficult. In our most recent session, Sarah made a comment toward me that felt blatantly disrespectful and attacking. When I calmly expressed that I was hurt by what was said, the feedback was not handled well. Rather than feeling heard or supported, I felt dismissed, which was especially painful given the vulnerability required in couples therapy. My partner and I are now unsure whether to continue working with her. We don’t want to lose the progress we’ve made by starting over with someone new, but trust has been shaken, and that makes moving forward difficult. I truly did not want to leave a negative review, but the way my concern was received has weighed on me for days and has impacted my quality of life outside of therapy. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the therapist’s response in moments like these can have lasting effects.

This is an emotionally safe and therapeutic place to receive treatment at. They offer a sliding scale and my therapist really does cares about me and the entire healing process. I received support and insight to help me get through my alcohol abuse. The space is clean and easily accessible by Muni.
