Blake thoughtfully combines psychotherapy with psychiatric expertise with a grounded, compassionate presence that helps adults feel truly understood. His relational style creates a safe, reflective space where clients can explore patterns, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with what brings meaning and vitality to their lives. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who blends clinical skill with warmth, depth, and genuine care, I highly recommend working with him.
Blake is present, compassionate and trustworthy. I appreciate his wisdom and the depth of his training. Highly recommended.
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Rawdin. Unlike other psychiatrists, he was very thoughtful in his approach, offering natural remedies and lifestyle changes to complement traditional medicine. So grateful for that!
Dr. Rawdin is simply the best. I've been working with him for eight years and can honestly say I have had significant growth in my personal and professional life due to our consistent work together. Although our focus areas have changed over the years, he always shows that he cares deeply and it is clear that he is a committed and present healthcare professional. Highly recommend.
I've been meeting with Dr. Rawdin for nearly a decade now, and it is incredible how the work we've done particularly around CBT has significantly advanced my self-understanding and my ability to handle both personal and professional challenges.
I have been working with Blake for almost a year and I find him a very compassionate, kind and ethical therapist. I highly recommend him.
Blake Rawdin is an incredibly gifted psychotherapist. He has that rare combination of intellectual brilliance and curiosity in his work with clients with the warm soulfulness of a deeply compassionate, empathic person. He is gentle yet powerful in his approach, cutting through to the heart of the matter, shooting sharp arrows into you that open pathways for healing and new possibilities. I think his ongoing education and training as a physician and psychiatrist have given him the confidence to be so bold in his words. When he speaks to me, I feel myself soften and open to unconscious feelings I’ve been avoiding but need to face. He creates a space for tremendous security and vulnerability, and I trust him completely.
My review seems to have been removed from Google's website -- Dr. Rawdin was cold, self-centered and not productive. I worked with him for almost a year and would only recommend him to patients who need to see a doctor to maintain medications. He is not a good conversationalist, he does not provide enlightening input and he is very difficult to schedule. Also, he charges FULL rate if you have an appointment on a Monday or Tuesday and do not cancel at least 4 days in advance. Somehow you are supposed to know if you get sick or have a work emergency on Wednesday night looking into the future to Tuesday of the following week. His "two business day" cancellation policy is extreme.
Told me I "almost certainly couldn't have ADHD" because I "did well in school" and charged me over $600 for this "expert" consultation. A few years later after losing two more jobs to work performance issues? Bam, ADHD+ASD diagnosis, just as it stereotypically appears in women who don't get diagnosed until adulthood. So, if you fall into that category, save your money and don't make the mistake of trusting this man with your career like I did.
Dr. Rawdin is one of the most thoughtful and compassionate people I know. He takes his job very seriously and truly cares about his patients.
