One thing that makes me prefer this methadone clinic over the last 3 I've been too is the hours! Them being open until 9:30pm on weekdays is super nice! Also they are probably the most chill and definitely the quickest to give take homes and raise your dose. Every other place Ive been minimum is 6 months and testing clean before you can even consider getting take homes... At Baart you can basically start getting take homes within your first month there. Cleanness is definitely a lower rating, the bathrooms are disgusting, have no soap. And then basically all the staff are pretty nice and friendly. I give them ⭐⭐⭐out of 5

I would never choose to return to this place. I’ve never felt so disrespected at a business. Every staff member I encountered was dismissive and unprofessional, they spoke to me condescendingly, looked at me with disdain, and overall made me feel less than human. Not once did I feel respected or treated like a person. Every interaction left me feeling dismissed and dehumanized. The staff spoke to me and looked at me like I didn’t matter. The thought of going back there genuinely makes me feel sick. I walked away feeling powerless, discouraged, and disheartened.

I've been on methadone clinics from here to El Capitan.... and Bart is the best clinic this side of the Rio Grande!

This is the best Methadone Clinic Ever. Where do I start? The hours are the best, the staff is the best, the dosing nurses are the best, the security is the best. Everyone is soooo friendly and caring and non judgmental and actually wants the patients to get better and have a better life. Thank You soooo much for everything that you guys do for your patients.

Dosing nurses are incredible, the counseling is amazing because they could relate. Overall the clinic is clean the security are great people and are on their job. The employees to check you in are awesome and friendly. THANK GOD FOR BAART!!! I would also like to include the times on the weekdays are absolutely perfect! There's no excuse not to get there on a timely basis daily. Great idea keep up the fantastic work...

These people are absolutely wonderful 😊! Upon my arrival I had an incredible talk with Gil who made me feel comfortable and ready to start my treatment. My counselor Herman is absolutely amazing! He believes in me and overall the staff are very cool and nice people. I am clean because they offered me the key to the city and I accepted it. In other words if you want to get clean they will provide you with all the help you can get. I usually don't toss around praise but I give them 5 stars because I can't think of anything but great things about this place!!

This is a great place to go for your methadone and Suboxone needs. The clinic is clean and the patients are happy. I love the security guard who is always in a great mood and keeps everything safe and running smoothly and the check in staff are great always friendly and helpful. The dosing nurses are always friendly and kind . And I haven't met a counselor I didn't like . This is my favorite BAART clinic!

I’ve been to several methadone clinics around the Bay Area, even other BAART clinics and this one is by far the best one I’ve. Ever been to. They are extremely professional and actually want to be there to help you. They will do whatever you need to do to get your life back. Also, being that it’s in the middle of civic center it’s a great reminder of where this WILL AHEAD IF YOU CONTINUE ON THE WRONG PATH. I’m very grateful for all the people that work there, from the security guards, the people that check you in the dosing nurses and the councilors. They don’t make hella money doing this job and they genuinely care about how you’re doing.

Been going to BAART for a decade or so, been clean from the get go. Very nice people, doctor Dio is VERY good!!! Made him my primary care doc! Dosing nurses are very kind as well. The council’s are also very good. Five stars!!

I give this clinic a 5/5 rating. My counselor Melanie Byers is the best thing to ever happen to my mental health; she’s kind, wise beyond the scope of other counselors; and has almost a sixth sense when it comes to the healing she provides during our monthly 1 hour talks which I actually look forward to which is not my usual sentiment when it comes to meetings. The reception desk workers whom check in the patients, as well as the dispensary nurses, know each patient by name and are friendly and jovial. Herb, a longtime staff member guides the flow of patients and directs the patient traffic with the patience of a saint on the rare occasions when there is a line of waiting patients. There’s almost never a line, I’m in and out in under 5 minutes. The intake process is fast and they dose you the same day. The location is at the top of the BART CIVIC CENTER STATION, in front of a MUNI stop, so they are close to public transit lines with ease of access that is practically effortless, the service provided within is icing on an already delicious cake.
