I have been a patient of Dr Dandekar for over a year. I wanted to write what is in gratitude, a long overdue review. I had another excellent appointment with her this week. I always look forward to seeing Dr Dandekar because of her cheerful, upbeat manner which immediately puts me at ease. And, because of how well she listens and assesses an issue. All that along with providing a holistic approach as well as considering options available associated with Western medicine. At this visit, I received some excellent advice about my arthritic knees and neuropathy in my left foot. She suggested a topical oil for my knees. It had previously worked wonders when last summer, she suggested I apply it to my lower back. I've used it since whenever I experience low back flare ups. After applying it to my knees, I found a marked improvement in comfort when walking. I asked Dr Dandekar if I could use it to help my left foot neuropathy To her credit, she suggested being cautious. And, to wait until a previously diagnosed skin condition had resolved. I appreciated her conservative approach. It tells me that she's acutely aware of when one should or should not use a topical substance. or any medication. Equally important to how well her advice has turned out, has been how patient she is when explaining a condition I have and how to treat it. Her instructions are always easy to follow. In closing, I'd say having had the opportunity to work with Dr Dandekar has certainly been a huge factor in improving and maintaining my overall health

Dr. Dandekar is highly skilled in a variety of Osteopathic techniques. She is a thoughtful, intelligent and compassionate physician. I am fortunate to have her as my medical guide from diagnosis to treatment.

Dr. Dandecar is one of the most compassionate doctors I have had and I've seen quite a few. Not only is she empathetic, but she is highly skilled and knowledgeable about ayurvedic and osteopathic treatments but is also a clinical translator where internal medicine is concerned (which she previously practiced). She treats me like a human being, and it's nice to exchange actual conversation in the midst of difficult and lengthy treatments. She is honest, practical and unafraid to let your body pave it's own path to healing. She is a true gem in the medical profession.
