Emily and Adrian are fantastic! Emily's 1:1 coaching and direct feedback made me feel so prepared for my job search, and I landed the job I wanted thanks to her. Adrian's 1:1 coaching helped me navigate the next step in my career after taking a break, and he helped me approach my next move with real intention and clarity. Highly recommend working with both of them!
Working with Gracie was an amazing experience. The first few sessions were structured and helped me generate a lot of information about myself that I could refer back to later. Once I was more grounded in a few possible directions, Gracie helped me figure out the best ways to test things out, and supported me both tactically and emotionally! She brings a wide range of knowledge about everything from niche job titles to application best practices to strategic career planning and relates all this with kindness and empathy. I would recommend A Path that Fits to anyone feeling lost in their career.
I've had a great experience with A Path That Fits. Adrian's built a framework that actually helps you cut through noise and make meaningful progress. I've worked with him both to sharpen existing processes and to chart out new directions. He's thoughtful, present, and has a solid toolkit that pushes creativity, reflection, and follow-through. More than that, he's just a good guy... smart, grounded, and enjoyable to work with. For what it's worth, I've spent decades around coaching and professional development programs, and A Path That Fits stands out as one of the best I've come across.
A Path That Fits (APTF) was first recommended to me by my therapist in late 2023 because of how unhappy I was at my job. Like many others, I had chosen a major in college and my jobs thereafter based on advice I had been given as a child – in my case, do something that has job security and makes good money. Nine years into my career, I had worked very hard, gotten multiple promotions, and made good money, but I hated my job. For the first time in my life, I lacked motivation, zoned out at meetings, and stopped caring about my work quality – all red flags for me. I joined APTF with the hope that I could discover a career that would bring more meaning to my life while maintaining my lifestyle. I joined the Career Pathfinder Group Coaching Program which offers a fully built-out online course, group coaching sessions, accountability buddy assignments, and access to the APTFs Facebook community group. I really appreciated how much thought went into the creation of the course. The first handful of modules guided me through a thought-provoking and insightful process to discover and/or reacquaint myself with my innate gifts, passions, and personality. It prompted me to engage in deep reflection and unlocked a type of child-like honesty and joy for who I truly am and what I like to do without the judgements of, “Will this make money?” and “Is this realistic?”. It was freeing and was the first step to me believing I could find something more meaningful to do for a career. During the second half of the course, I enjoyed the practical tools provided to help me research jobs that align with the above findings, conduct informational interviews, test drive your new career, and handle fears and limiting beliefs as they come up. I loved that the course was designed in a way that takes into account the spiritual, emotional, and practical aspects of going through a career pivot – a truly holistic approach. Amanda Halabi (one of the coaches) was an instrumental part of my journey. As a self-starter and fairly disciplined person, I didn’t initially see the need for a coach, however I will tell you right now that it makes ALL the difference. The process of thinking about, doing the research, and actually undergoing big career changes is overwhelming. For every moment I would gain hope and optimism during the course, I would later experience even stronger feelings of uncertainty, doubt, and fear of naivety. Every conversation I had with Amanda left me feeling the complete opposite. She would help me reconnect with the part of myself that had the courage to embark on this path in the first place, find self-compassion for the ups and downs of the journey, reframe discouraging thoughts from my inner critic, and walk away feeling at peace that I was exactly where I needed to be. It was her coaching that ultimately helped me gain the inner strength and resolve to do what I knew I had to for a while, but couldn’t get myself to do – quit my job so that I can have the time and space to reconnect with who I am outside of my corporate image in order to find a more meaningful path in life. As I write this, I am 1.5 months into my journey post quitting. I am currently exploring career and life coaching, still very much following the steps outlined in APTFs, and seeking Amanda’s coaching along the way. While it’s scary to not have a source of income, I also have a deep knowing that this is the right move for me. The excitement, curiosity, energy, and passion I feel each day as I explore my new career interest is equally freeing from the many restrictions and limiting beliefs I had placed on myself for years. I give a lot of credit to Amanda for helping me realize the gravity and impact of said limiting beliefs/fears so that I may gain the strength to challenge them.
APTF - the online course and especially Adrian and Amanda's guidance - have been a precious resource on my path-finding journey. I've felt welcomed, seen, and empowered from the very beginning, they're the kind of (talented, skilled, empathetic) coaches who truly show up for you, infusing every interaction with kindness, purpose, and clarity. Considering my move overseas and the need for a visa, my situation is a bit of a unique case, and yet I'm happy to report that after a year of soul-searching and exploration I've reached the point where I got everything aligned for a beautiful new chapter of my life and work. I would like to offer a deep bow and a huge THANK YOU to Adrian and Amanda for their presence and guidance. They are a gift for everyone who gets to work with them.
I found A Path that Fits when I was at a crossroads between jobs. I wasn’t happy in my current work but with so many paths ahead of me I didn’t know what to do and the sheer amount of options to sift through was overwhelming. I began searching for placement/recruiting help then came across reverse recruiting and then career coaching in an effort to find expertise that could help me leverage where I was to what I could do. Stumbling upon A Path that Fits is already one of the best things I’ve ever done. I had an intro call with Amanda and was immediately struck by how passionate, supportive and knowledgeable she was. I took the course and swiftly learned more about myself in the first section of the course than I had through alot of my life. You start off with a bunch of self discovery so you can fit what you do to who you are. Through the entire process, Amanda and Adrian were the most supportive, helpful and encouraging people you could ask for. They do monthly group coaching sessions and also check in personally with each member through the process. It couldn’t be more clear to me how much they care about the outcomes of the people they work with and helping them find their path. The process not only led me to get to know myself better but I am beginning down an exciting new career path I wouldn’t have discovered without Adrian, Amanda and A Path that Fits. I think this should be required work for anyone in high school trying to select a career! Could not recommend more highly!
I took Adrian's career course about 1 - 2 years ago and it was life changing in the best way possible! The program was very accurate, thorough, and insightful in order for me to gain a better understanding of who I am in a professional sense that aligns with my values, priorities, and season of life. After taking Adrian's course, I took an additional course in my field of interest, volunteered extensively, and landed my ideal role. I'm now a mediator. My career doesn't feel like work, but a gift to help, add more hope and peace to others lives. I am forever grateful for this program and Adrian. A definite game changer!
I had an incredible experience with A Path That Fits. The program provided me with the valuable tools and resources I needed to succeed in redesigning my professional career. The program's curriculum was comprehensive and very well-structured. I was able to make progress at my own pace and gained valuable insights into my own strengths and gifts at this stage in my life leading me to finding my new career path! Adrian and his team are talented coaches and supportive, always willing to answer questions and provide assistance. The group coaching sessions and bi-weekly sessions with fellow participants in the program were invaluable, allowing us to build relationships and support each other along the way. Overall, I am extremely grateful for the experience I had with A Path That Fits. I learned a great deal about what changes I needed to make to be in true alignment with myself and I feel happier and excited about this next chapter in my life.
For me I did the following: Career Pathfinder Group Coaching Accountability Buddies: Yes Planned to change careers, not build on current career Sorry for the long post! In the past I wondered if coaching programs were really all that helpful, but now I am a convert! I found myself burned out, with no work-life balance and stretched to the limit. Every time I tried to even consider changing careers I very quickly got overwhelmed with the options and potential need for school and cost, and time and what if I'm wrong?? This program really kept a very positive outlook and really grounded me. It helped me realize how I should decide, how I could explore options without having to make a sudden life-altering change, and gave me a much broader and exciting way of looking at opportunities. I now feel like I'm moving towards something again. I'm excited again. Why choose A Path that Fits vs other coaches? I'd say the community. It really comes in handy with networking new positions and learning about areas you may have never explored. It also exposes you to other ideas and ways of thinking as well! Emily and Adrian are great! Very perceptive and give excellent advice and guidance.
Before coming to Adrian at A Path That Fits, I had just left a PhD program that I thought was my passion and purpose. It turned out that it was the wrong fit for me, so I left the program without a clue of what I was to do next. I heard about Adrian and his program through my sister and figured I’d give it a shot because I knew I had to do the work to find a fulfilling career for myself, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it. I did many one-on-one’s with Adrian where he guided me through the program. His calm and guiding presence created a safe space for me so that I could rediscover my passions and find the career that is perfect for me. From not knowing what career path I should take, Adrian helped me narrow down my job search to a specific role that I felt really excited about. He also equipped me with the practical skills of searching for a job. After a few months of job searching, I am now in a role that is the perfect fit for me and that I love. While Adrian’s program has helped me in my career search, his program is so much more than that. In my one-on-one’s with Adrian, I realized that my career is just one part of who I am and that my purpose is much larger than my career. He helped me envision the life that I want to lead and my career is just one aspect of this vision. I am very thankful for him and his program for helping me in this period of my life. I definitely recommend him to anyone trying to navigate any transition in their life.
