If I could give negative ratings, I would do it over and over again about my children. I am almost sure this psychiatrist is the reason why so many people are scared to continue getting care. She is condescending. She does not want you to have an opinion or concern. And then when you question her medical advice and decline it because you don’t feel like it lines up with the situation as a whole, but a bandaid solution. She will report you to authorities. She also makes things up. She said my daughter had been experiencing this for many years when she in fact had only been experiencing this for one year! My daughter is eleve. This was her first time being inpatient(she was in there 1 week) I don’t know where she got the “years” from, but it surprised me too.

Lydia Cohan does not deserve the title of Doctor. She is the most condescending, abhorrent human being I’ve ever encountered. She refused to speak with me about my daughter’s medication, cutting me off and belittling me when I raised concerns about her dosage. She then yelled at my daughter because Lydia was upset with me for questioning my daughters dosage, and told my daughter, who was already struggling and fragile, that she (my daughter) needed to handle her parents. She spent all of 5 minutes with my daughter before diagnosing her and prescribing meds. The diagnosis do not match my daughters symptoms. Even after I voiced concerns about the dosages being too high, she increased the doses because the meds weren’t working. Her staff apologized for her behavior and stated that she treats everyone the same way. Keep your child FAR away from St Luke’s and Lydia Cohan.
