I have now seen Cassie twice, both for 90-minutes myofacial release. When I tell you that these sessions have changed my life I 100% mean it. I have dealt with TMJ, teeth grinding, body misalignment and more for 40 years. Last night, after my session, I slept through the night and actually woke up RESTED and for the first time in decades my tongue is resting in the correct place and I’m not constantly unconsciously biting it. Somatic release is amazing, and Cassie is so unbelievably gifted at what she does. 10/10.
Awesome! On time, super relaxing. I made an appointment as a suprise for my wife and it all worked out wonderfully! Thank you
Great massage from Jake; he listened to my current pain points and made sure to address them. Cassie was very helpful with booking and making sure I found the location easily.
I've been going here for years, and I still leave in amazement. The environment is calm and rejuvenating, and the aromas that Cassie lets me try are simply amazing.
10/10 — The owner checked in before my service to make sure I was able to find their location (she even sent photos with clear instructions). I had a 90-minute massage with Jake, who was wonderful. He talked to me before our session began to ensure all of the areas that I have been feeling tension were properly addressed. He frequently checked in to ensure I was comfortable and pressure was okay. I would definitely come back.
I got a prenatal massage at 36 weeks. It was the perfect amount of relaxation. The massage was nice and deep in targeted areas that were bothering me. I would highly reccomend Cassie. I hope to be able to book more appointments in the future.
Amazing appointment! This was my second time coming here and it was AMAZING! Cassie is always amazing. The amount of work she does is incredible. The pressure was perfect! I appreciate that she asked questions not only before my appointment but even during my appointment. Allowed me to relax for 60 minutes and allow someone to be in charge! Will definitely be back
I had the most wonderful first-time experience at Somatic Arts! I had a myofascial release session with Cassie and it was truly profound. She was very intuitive into what my body needed and I left feeling better than I have in years. Cassie listened to all of my concerns and I felt very safe and comfortable and well taken care of. The space is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and has amazing energy. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone in need of MFR or massage go see Cassie & her team. I can’t wait for my next appointment!!
I've been seeing Jake since 2018 on almost a regular monthly basis. He's great at listening when I describe where I'm feeling tension or soreness. He's able to seamlessly translate that then into my massage and strategically integrates the use of cupping and hot stones combined with massage to hit those specific areas. He's also wonderful at locating additional areas I'm holding stress or tension and working on them. He somehow does a full body but is still able to apply deep pressure and massage the focus areas I ask for. Highly recommend booking with Jake at Somatic Arts! I'd also recommend Cassie as a massage therapist as well. While I've never personally had a massage with her, friends of mine have and have expressed their genuine enjoyment and relaxation felt from their experience with her as a masseuse.
I’ve had monthly sessions with Jake since 2019 focused on alleviating lower back pain and a few related issues. We do a consultation before each session and he tailors the massage based on my feedback, often incorporating cupping and/or hot stones. The studio is tucked away in a cool historic Third Ward building and the space itself is very calm and inviting. I look forward to my session every month and always leave feeling rejuvenated. Would highly recommend.
