For context: I am polyamorous and under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. Finding a psychiatrist that I got along with was a years-long struggle for me. I often felt talked down to and infantilized by the other psychiatrists I went to see. I've been working with Jeff for a few years now, and he makes me feel seen and heard, both with regards to my mental health, and any general life-stuff that I need to talk about. (he's not a therapist, but he IS a great listener) He invites me to be an active participant in my treatment plan, and he treats me with kindness and compassion. I feel safe with this guy, and my mental health is all the better for it.
