Dr Holtz has served as our l parent coach through our Collaborative Divorce and has worked with us as our kids have grown and matured. One of the few professionals I think we both could trust. Our kids also built an easy rapport with Dr Holtz almost immediately and have asked to see him again when they have a hard time adjusting to our divorced familyโs life. ========== 8 years later: My family continues to find Dr Casey instrumental in managing our interactions as divorced co-parents. He always centers our kids by never taking one "side" or the other. Each time we bring an issue, he has helped us develop new systems that help reduce friction between us moving forward. He's also helped shape our understanding of how our parenting should adjust now that our kids are teenagers, as compared to when they were young kids. P.S. The billing process is extremely convenient now that Dr Casey's office uses Quickbooks. Both of us get the email invoice and we each click on the link to pay half, without needing to log in or anything.
Casey is great psychotherapist. But the billing/financial end was atrocious. He claims he will bill your insurance and says he did. I contacted my insurance and no claims were ever received/sent and I do medical billing for a living. He then sends you an invoice for ~$280 a session! The therapy is good, but count on that being the price range he's expecting. In addition, he doesn't disclose unless you directly ask him, that he's actually not contracted with ANY insurances. The whole situation was unfortunate because I have strong out of network benefits with a low deductible but he never used that. Only feedback I have is that he needs to be transparent with potential patients that he plans to get paid that much per session and actually no efforts are made to collect from insurance.
Casey Holtz has helped many families who have worked with our Family Mediation Center. His input as a child specialist helps parents communicate and jointly create family plans focused on the well-being of their children. His experience and child expertise has been invaluable for families and lawyer mediators.
I highly recommend Dr. Holtz as do my many collaborative and mediation divorce clients. He works as a child specialist for parents or treatment of an adolescent. I have worked with him in both roles and clients have always found value in his services. His child focused discussions have been extremely valuable to clients.
It was ok but Morgan was so rude I asked her a simple question and she looked at me in disgust was a little disappointed ๐
