This place is fantastic. I feel as though I'm getting the PT's full attention every session. I had pretty debilitating nerve pain in my neck and back. Over the course of a few weeks I felt major, major improvements in mobility and pain reduction. I feel great every time I leave and I actually look forward to my upcoming visits. Also, you don't need to be an athlete to benefit from their work, so don't think this is for elite athletes only!
I’ve had a fantastic experience so far. Though I’m only two sessions in, the transition to becoming a new client was seamless. The entire team is incredibly welcoming, and the clinic itself is clean, conveniently located, and outfitted with impressive, high-tech PT equipment. Dr. Troy is currently helping me address chronic knee pain I’ve experienced while running. I’m feeling optimistic about the strengthening process and can't wait to get back on track for my upcoming half marathon!
Such a great experience. Troy was able to help me combat my knee pain, and some other pain that came along the way while training towards my race. Was able to make my third half marathon my fastest yet thanks to them ! Highly, highly recommend !
I’ve been coming Positive Action for about 8 months now, and I truly can’t say enough good things about my experience. From day one, the staff has been welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in my progress. The therapists take the time to listen, explain the “why” behind each exercise, and tailor treatment to my specific shoulder needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Over the past year, I’ve seen real improvements in my shoulder strength, mobility, and overall confidence in my body. Appointments are well organized, the clinic is clean and positive, and I never feel rushed. It’s clear that they care not only about treating pain, but about long-term health and prevention. If you’re looking for a physical therapy clinic that is knowledgeable, supportive, and truly dedicated to your recovery, I highly recommend this place.
Positive Action has been my saving grace this past year! Edwin and the whole team is so passionate about helping you achieve your goals. I tore my ACL and the progress I’ve made here during rehab is next level. Edwin has helped me overcome various injuries both physically and mentally (mentally probably being the hardest). Their tailored approach will have you back to sport and feeling confident week after week. The whole team feels like family and you should look no further for your next PT!!!
So much to say here. I've been suffering from cervical spine herniations, arthritis, disc degeneration, pinched nerves, and more for years. The daily headaches and frequent migraines that I was getting from these conditions were the worst part of my experience. I tried multiple physical therapists for treatment through my insurance, and knew I wasn't getting the care I needed. I saw the high ratings for Positive Action, so I decided to give them a try. I was desperate. I spoke to Flor and Edwin on the phone and they were very explanatory about the entire process. The only apparent drawback was that they didn't go through insurance. I went in the first day, and it seems like I never looked back after that. Edwin gave me a comprehensive evaluation for my specific case. From that point on, not only did I receive targeted exercises for my condition, I was given manual therapy, manipulation, dry needling, electrotherapy, and more from Edwin. What I love about his care was that he received feedback well and responded to my needs every day that I came in. I knew immediately that I didn't need to look any further. This was the kind of comprehensive care that I had been searching for all along. I realized too that it wasn't a "drawback" at all, it was an investment. Trusting Edwin, Flor, Troy and Vanessa with my care made all the difference in my life. I was truly suffering before I went in. I went from a charismatic, outgoing person to essentially a zombie with my frequent migraines and daily high levels of pain and discomfort. I'm a complicated case, as is anybody with spine issues. I am not fully healed, but honestly, after a year of care, I can say that I feel like I've got my life back again. My headaches and migraines have lessened, my pain is minimal, and I actually feel like I can return to exercising. If you are somebody who is going through spine issues or any issues whatsoever and are in need of physical therapy, I'd encourage you to consider Positive Action Rehab and Performance. Take it from this former zombie, you'll be great hands!
Edwin, Gabby & Troy are excellent PTs. They guided me every step of the way. I came to them having nerve pain in my leg in the middle of my marathon training. They shared their knowledge and helped me throughout my training with exercises and other forms of therapy. I was able to run my first marathon without any nerve pain and I attribute that to Positive Action Rehab. I felt like their support was so beneficial that I signed up for another 12 PT sessions because I’m a very active person and plan to continue running & playing pickleball long term. I’m grateful to be one of their patients!
I’ve been coming to Positive Action Physical Therapy for over a year now, and I can honestly say they’ve been one of the biggest blessings in my life during a really tough medical season. Dr. Troy has been there for me through some of the hardest moments this past year, guiding me every step of the way and making sure I never felt alone in the process. His knowledge, patience, and compassion are unmatched. The entire staff is phenomenal; every single person greets you with kindness, remembers your story, and truly cares about your progress. And the owners? Some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. They go above and beyond for their patients and it absolutely shows in the culture of this place. As a gym owner and as a patient, I’m incredibly grateful for the team at Positive Action. They’re the real deal, and I can’t recommend them enough.
I highly recommend Positive Action for your physical therapy journey! I enjoyed working with Dr Gabriela Reyes (Gaby), because she found the root cause and gave me consistent feedback, while educating me on what the plan was and how the science works. I was in so much pain, that lifting weights became a nightmare for me while I was cross training for my first marathon. Every-time I ran, I felt like my neck and shoulders were locked up. It was so bad that daily tasks like getting out of bed, putting my hair up, or putting shoes on felt nearly impossible. After working with Gaby for a few weeks, I can confidently say I’m no longer in pain, and I regained my mobility and strength. I’m back to weight lifting and running again with so much joy! Gaby really gets to know her clients, and takes the time to listen, which made me look forward to going to PT each week, knowing I was being heard. I’m so thankful! :) Gaby, Troy, and Edwin are all super encouraging, and they won’t let you down!
Thanks to Edwin, Troy, and the entire team at Positive Action, I’ve recovered from a meniscus injury and returned to doing the CrossFit WODs I love—without pain! I appreciate the professionalism and timely care I received at Positive Action and recommend this team highly. They are CrossFit athletes themselves, so they understand the demands of the sport and guided me back to pain-free movement at the right pace for my specific injury. It was easy to keep track of my progress and rehab exercises through their app, PT Everywhere, and both Edwin and Troy were available in the app when I had questions or concerns during my recovery. Excellent experience all around!
