Some of the officers are very disrespectful , they discriminate ppl and very prejudice my husband goes to the treatment center and they refused him to use the bathroom , and let some other ppl in to use it
Another place that should be really evaluated because of the unprofessional doctors and staff there. It’s getting more and more concerning San Antonio. If a doctor calls and ask to speak to the parent of the patient they have there, they should listen and not hang up on them. Very unprofessional after you called to get information in order to get the patient the proper help they need. So you said. Don’t waste a parents time if your not about helping the patient out! Theirs to many places with doctors and staff that should not be in the position they are in, and particularly don’t care and this is one place that ranks of not doing what’s right. They look at these patients as a number and don’t take the time to understand what they’re dealing with in the first place. That’s why there’s so much disabled people and teens not getting the proper care they actually need. You got people in these high positions that need help themselves and need to be evaluated before they can even help someone else! Sad but true and nothing is done to stop the nonsense. Look at all the abuse in a lot of these places that have been closed down because of the lack of concern and justice and abuse that goes on behind closed doors. I really pray that this changes soon. I’m a very concerned mother and friend . I want to see proper care being done for the unfortunate and people that struggle with mental disability. Speak up for what’s right if your love ones are disabled and mentally challenged and need someone to speak up on the behalf. Some of these places aren’t going to do it and don’t give up either. Someone out there will listen.
I was struggling with OCD and the psych wards kept telling me I was bipolar and malingering and sending me back home on the wrong medication. Until I saw the dr there I was very confused and giving up on figuring out what was wrong with me. It’s not the highest quality facility but I felt safe, saw a dr and was fed. The shower burns hotter than hell and there may be some black mold in there but overall I’m better off for being there.
Negative 0 ! I have POA over my brother Salomon Salinas and they refuse to give me any information ℹ️ on him - I have medical power do attorney and they continue to say it dosemt Cary any weight ? It’s a POA !!!!!!!! The first 2 days they said I needed it POA , then I find it bring it and we’ll it dosemt really matter after all , horrible staff extremely rude you can tell their is no education behind these employees and they are the ones making medical decisions for my brother and others in their !??? I have contacted channel 4 news and my attorney!!! Praying 🙏🏻 for good in this bad place and hey call crisis center !! Needs to be shut down I have also made a state and federal complaint .
This place is horrible and needs to be shut down, the night staff calls clients horrible names and don't watch them like they are supposed to. When a client ask questions about the care they blow them off an make fun of them. The state needs to investigate this place Horrible service Horrible staff
These people are rude and unprofessional they would not let me talk to my husband nurse anymore and they will not let me talk to him they want to send him to another facility I told them no and when I asked were he is at so I can go pick him up they said that they will not let him go in my care unless he gives them permission do not send your loved ones here at all I made a mistake for sending my husband here
I was 3 days out of my surgery I fainted due to the fact I was hungry and Im anemic, and when I fainted the nurse did something to my chest and to this day I am still in pain from my chest, and I was in and out of conscience twice and she did it to me twice and then another nurse even made fun of me for having swelling on my cheeks. and over all I was not happy with my stay and all I can say is what they did to me as a 19yr old I'm traumatized. they should of had a care in there heart to at least do proper assistance. even if I'm there for a crisis my health matters just like everyone else including themselves. I'm very disappointed. but for now on never again I learned a big lesson, from this experience
They don't care about your crisis. They just consider you a drain on society and are just trying to keep you in check. You're dog s**t to them.
If you love the person you are thinking about having committed, do not send them here. I was EDed and placed in this hell hole. Been there twice and both times were horrid. You are thrown in a room with a bunch of other ppl that are detoxing off god knows what and beds. The staff sucks and don't help, the night staff are so loud and inconsiderate of those trying to sleep. The three days I was there no one helped me until about 2am on my third day. I spoke to a doctor for 20mins. The doctor was a person on a computer screen. They threw pills at me and discharged me later that morning. This is NOT a place to get help.
