I cannot begin to express how wonderful Legacy is! After the negative experiences we had with another adoption service, our hopes to still adopt led us to pursue other options. The first things that we noticed that was different about Legacy Adoptions was their community outreach and dedicated support to both pregnant women, fathers, or even women who have already given birth. This was extremely important to us. We wanted an agency that cared about all parties involved, even after placement. An agency that was honest, supportive, and ensured that the birth mother and father were comfortable and happy with their decision to place for adoption and the family they chose. The comparison of Legacy to our other service was night and day. From our first consultation I knew Legacy Adoptions was the right place for us. Aimee answered all of our questions about how they counsel and support pregnant mothers and prospective adoptive parents, what modern adoption looks like, and how they ensure comfortability for all involved. While it was a large emotional and financial risk to start all over, we could not let anything stand in our way. Our faith led us to Legacy. Their kindness, mission rooted in faithful values and compassion, is unparalleled. While in some ways we regret not going with Legacy Adoption Services initially, we do believe in God’s perfect timing. Our experiences led us to Legacy, and to our wonderful, sweet son that we cannot imagine life without now! They provided necessary trainings and support throughout the entire process. Based on our perspective they also provided meaningful counsel and support to the birth mother and helped us both when we arrived in Texas. My husband and I looked at many different agencies and found corruption and lack of integrity in business. Legacy was honest and upfront with costs, and willing to give back almost all of your money with failed matches. Legacy Adoption Services is an excellent adoption agency. All the staff are wonderful and passionate of their work. They were always there to answer all our questions throughout the adoption process. Our social worker at the hospital Melanie was excellent with our birth mother and us. Melanie facilitate the conversation with the birth mother and went smooth and easy. Legacy Adoptions Services made the process of getting our Texas clearance so easy. I was at the point where the paperwork seemed like it would never end in our adoption journey. Working with Aimee at Legacy Adoption was a breath of fresh air. She sent clear steps on exactly what I needed to do, then we had a follow up call where she clarified those steps. She was available for any questions I had along the way and responded promptly. We had our clearance well before I thought we would.
