I have to say my experience with Rachel wAs only been on the phone but she was phenomenal. She matched my son up with a perfect fit Lulu! Lulu has been so amazing with my son. While it has only been a short amount of time they have created such a bond. The care, and passion for what she does is unmatchable. She is one of the few that has listened and is trying to make a difference in our lives. She truly is amazing! I will update with progress later. Update 5/25/24 most definitely still making progress! Lulu has been phenomenal with all the advice and tools we get from her are priceless. She is a huge part of our lives

Jennifer does a really great job with joining you through your counseling journey. She provides a safe space to identify your emotions and thoughts. Works hand in hand with you providing different perspectives and meeting you where you are at in your journey. She takes the time to hear you out and what you would like to attain from the counseling experience.

I have been blessed to know and work with Rachael for the past seven years. She is a dedicated counselor, listening to her client’s needs and assisting them to reach their goals. I have recommended Rachael to several parents and counselors who are looking for a knowledgeable counselor for their children.

If your looking for a visit from CPS then this is the place for you! I called to schedule an appointment for my teenage daughter because their website promotes “mindfulness” and “drug free” I was very against anti depressants and I made that clear when I first called for the appointment and again in the first session with Jennifer. After THREE sessions she recommended anti depressants for my 16 year old daughter and an evaluation at Mesa Springs. When we left the session I came home and looked up Mesa Springs and decided against taking her there and felt that maybe she wasn’t the therapist for us since I had already said I would not be giving her any SSRIs and yet she was ready to prescribe them so early in the sessions. I called to thank Jennifer for her time but that we would not be returning. Less than a week later we had a home visit from CPS. The woman from CPS was very kind and saw no reason for my daughter to be admitted to Mesa Springs or for her to be removed from our home. It was a horrible experience for our family. I cannot stress enough how awful this therapist made our lives for several months while navigating CPS. Highly highly do not recommend. Read the reviews from Mesa Springs as well, interesting that Jennifer worked there before coming to Trueself. Always do your research parents and trust your gut. You know and love your kids more than anyone.

I have known Rachael, professionally, for over 10 years. She is a go-to colleague I reach out to when I need my own professional consultation. Rachael is a very knowledgeable therapist, yet continues to expand her education and skills with up to date research and strategies, as well as attends frequent trainings and conferences. Rachael has a warm and friendly personality, she is very open and accepting of everyone and she genuinely cares about her clients. Rachael is on my referral list and I highly recommend her!

Rachael is sweet spirited with a soft demeanor and inviting presence. She creates an environment that is warm, friendly, and nonjudgmental. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor and I would, without hesitation, have Rachael be the counselor for my children. I highly recommend her!

I have known and worked with Rachael in a professional setting for the past three years and have been consistently impressed with her skills, therapeutic approach and expansive knowledge base. If I am unsure how to best assist a patient with a mental health concern Rachael is consistently one of my go to folks to make sure my adolescent patients get the best care.
