I’ve only been working with Adris for about a month, but I can already say how much I appreciate her compassion and the way she truly listens. She creates a space where I feel heard, supported, and understood. I am currently working through going no-contact with my mother-in-law, and Adris has provided tools and practical guidance that have been incredibly helpful—not just for me, but for my husband as well. Even though she only counsels me, what I’ve learned in our sessions has positively impacted my marriage in such a meaningful way. I genuinely feel like our marriage is becoming more centered on each other again, and I know that growth is directly connected to the work we’re doing in therapy together, session by session. I’m very happy with the support I’m receiving, and I look forward to continuing this journey and becoming the happiest, healthiest version of myself as a person and wife. ❤️
Ms. Moffett made me feel comfortable during our first session, I look forward to continuing our work together.
I have been seeing Candace for over a year, and she has guided me through an incredibly difficult transition into the workforce. She helped me learn effective techniques to retrain my mind and stop thinking so negatively about myself, and she has given me the tools to begin building a life I didn’t think was possible before counseling. I would recommend her to anyone seeking evidence-based therapy delivered with an empathetic and humorous approach. I consider myself very lucky to have crossed her path.
I had an excellent experience receiving clinical supervision here while working toward my LCSW. Adris was knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in my professional growth. Supervision was thoughtful, ethical, and well-structured, and I always felt encouraged to develop my clinical skills and confidence. I highly recommend Adris to anyone seeking quality supervision on the path to licensure.
Went to consultation before Christmas , Absolutely no follow up. I haven’t been able to see a counselor or see the nutritionist that was recommended very upsetting and do not recommend.
My experience as a veteran with my therapist and owner of Next Step Professional Counseling has been awesome when I was in Fort Worth, TX. I was referred from another friend due to I was searching for a therapist whom deals with veterans especially a Christian woman especially with my type of horrific trauma that I experienced in the Navy that I never got the right treatment which was over four (4) decades ago. Yet, the time I started with her she knew the best treatment for me especially my medical issues. I was with her for over a year before I had to relocate /move to South Carolina. I have recommended any female and female veteran to her. Additionally, my therapist I have presently continued my same treatment plan for she sees the improvement in me when I explained everything I went through with the VA to seek the proper mental health care for me.
I love adris she’s the best. She really cares about her clients!
Candance is a great counselor, has a great sense of humor, empathic and honest. Ms. Candance has been very supportive. My relationship with my family, friends and male friend has shown a lot of growth since working with her. I highly recommend you reach out if you are ready to heal, open-minded and transparent.
Candance: Patient, knowledgeable, kind, honest, reliable, consistent, quick response/follow-up and has a great sense of humor.
I will never forget that Ms. Adris was my first therapist ever. She was very supportive and helpful while I was under her care. I appreciate her for her willingness to help me through one of the most difficult situations in my life. Thank you Ms. Adris for your service and it was nice meeting you. I will continue to thrive towards becoming a better version of myself without comparing myself to others.
