I was able to meet with Dr. Marta Otero because of a comp/pen exam through the VA. I found Dr. Otero to be very professional and compassionate, which was a big relief because VA claims can be very intimidating and stressful for us vet's. She took time to answer any and all questions I had and made me feel comfortable about the situation. Thank you Dr Otero for what you do for our service men and women. I had a appt set up for VA review my appt was at 10 i didn't get seen until 1030. She started review off light which was fine we discuss the review process. So i thought she understood the assignment seeing is we didn't talk much if any about the reason for my review. I'm highly upset i have to start the process over again and if anyone knows how the VA review process is understands my frustration. If I could give her a 0 I would. She even said she was going to proceed with it fwd while comparing some similarities between me and her husband. Highly upset!
Dr. Otero was the most compassionate, caring, understanding and professional Doctor I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I truly felt she listened and understood my feelings and gave me just advice. The conversation was two way and complete. I would highly recommend Doctor Otero, thank you ma’am.
This was my first ever visit with a physiologist and Dr. Otero was amazing. She was very professional and friendly. She treated me with dignity and respect and being a veteran with over 30 years of service, I could not of asked for a better physiologist. She answered all my questions as well as provided helpful feedback to utilize in the future. Thank you !
Just was reminded of our experience with Dr. Otero this past year and had to sign on and leave a note. We are in the adoption process and navigating it can be quite challenging at times. We needed an evaluation completed and Dr. Otero could not have been more kind and engaging with us. The process can be tedious and time consuming, but Dr. Otero worked swiftly and with great care for us as individuals. As mentioned in other reviews, she was clear in communication of each step and even when unique things were needed by our agency and the country we are adopting from, Dr. Otero helped us navigate it and was very supportive. Should’ve left this review a year ago!
I hate going to these docs. Seriously. However, the VA sent me for a review. Let me tell you, Dr. Otero is awesome. She explained what she was doing step by step, didn’t treat me like cattle and was PERSONABLE. She gave me great advice going forward, that I am reluctant to take. If she were my doc, I would think about it; but I don’t like most docs. Thank you if you ever see this!
I rarely write reviews, but Dr. Otero handled my claim/case in a very professional manner. She explained things clearly to me and answered all my questions. She displayed genuine care and respect towards me.
I echo previous of Otero's lack of professionalism, arrogant, and callous nature. In addition, as an educator I was extremely bothered by her manipulative tactics and demeaning tone towards my children. She has been known to suggest military school for several of her patients and parents have shared with me that their children really started suffering following visits to Otero. The damage to my family can not be undone. Although my children saw her years ago, I am troubled by the fact that she is still practicing. I would opt for zero stars if that were a posting option.
Dr. Marta Otero is the most professional Psychologist I have ever met with. Without her i wouldn't have made it through my divorce and my experience was always held in high regards. Despite the situation Dr. Otero made my experience with her the best it could have been.
