Known the owner of this place for years. Great team she's built up and you would be hard-pressed to find someone as caring as her.
I told the guy I was diagnosed with ADHD and had been prescribed controlled ADHD meds. I even told him about working with a counselor for a long time and then the counselor telling me “ oh if I knew you had ADHD I would have given you a different treatment plan” . I told this guy and he still puts a diagnosis of adjustment disorder. As this person even read the diagnostic criteria for adjustment disorder? The shot is if you have ADHD…. You don’t have adjustment disorder…… an other loss for the mental health community. Do your self a favor and stay away from them!
the place itself is very welcoming, the receptionist offers me water or candy and they have music playing in the waiting room which makes it a calm environment. i’ve been seeing my therapist here for over a year now and the reminder system/therapy portal is very efficient.
Amazing wonderful people. Definitely recommend. My life is so much better thanks to the help they give.
