Hi doesn’t Respekt, what you Want by the Appointment

I procrastinated on leaving a review on this so called “Doctor”. I came here approximately 6-7 months ago for a psychological evaluation needed for CBP. From the very beginning of explaining to him of my background, I felt like I was being criticized just from his vibe and demeanor alone. After the first appointment he sent me a questionnaire to submit. Maybe about 300 questions. To which I answered truthfully based on the present on that day. I then go see him on my second appointment for my evaluation. Apparently based on this questionnaire alone, he told me that I was lying on the questions. As if he knew me from just TWO appointments and a questionnaire. Then proceeded to tell me to fill the questionnaire again but to answer based on my whole history and not just how I felt during the present. So I did submit again. And as an Army Veteran, obviously there was more issues I had in the past, than I had during that present time. I regrettably agreed to a zoom call for the next appointment and for another evaluation. Which I did not want to even do again because of how disrespected I felt when he told me I was lying during the first evaluation. However I still made the zoom call with him. And before he could tell me my evaluation, he makes me pay him via website before proceeding. At the time my wife was working and I didn’t have a babysitter for our son. I explain to the “Dr.” as I hold my son. And he then criticizes me saying that I shouldn’t be talking about my issues with him with my son in my presence and how it could affect him. My son wasn’t even 2 yet! Like what are you talking about man. And of course my evaluation came out to be worse then the first one because I answered the questions based on my whole history rather than my present day, Lastly he recommended me for more therapy and didn’t recommend me for continued process with CBP. This whole experience has me wondering how this dude even has a license. And jokes on him cause I still made it all the way through with CBP. In conclusion, please don’t waste your time with this hypocrite. I’d say he’s got mental issues of his own.

He not only called me last minute, which goes against his "24-hour notice practice", to schedule a $200 meeting. This "Doctor" proceeded to antagonize my spirits and leave me restless the entire time we chatted. Very condescending, disrespectful, and not empathetic. His training makes me question the University he received his credentials. DO NOT go here.

Dr. Contreras was egregiously unprofessional during a psychological evaluation of my partner, calling them childish and criticizing their attire. Further, his questioning on autism diagnosis was rife with stereotypes and outdated psychological practices. This 'doctor' is a joke.

A one Caring, and patient. Usually virtual visits are 0$ copay, and office visits are 25$ copay. I COULD be wrong. Thank you, Heather

DO NOT GO TO THIS THERAPIST! If I could give zero stars, I would. He sits on a pedestal of degrees, is condescending and had an inferior attitude towards me as a patient the few sessions I did. He doesn't let you talk or explain yourself and just likes to hear himself talk about how "educated" he is while he pours salt on your wounds. His website says "compassionate" and he's a Buddhist? He is the furthest from compassionate and what kind of Buddhist doesn't forgive. Waste of time and effort. Update: I found a new therapist who is AMAZING and I told her about the things this therapist did and said to me. She told me what he did was unprofessional and manipulative. Felt validated to know I wasn't the only one who saw what he said/did to me were out of line.

Therapy with Dr.Contreras was life changing. My wife and I went for couples therapy. Throughout our visits we learned a great deal about ourselves and eachother and acquired the tools to continue growing together on our path forward. There will be unforseen hardships in life but since then we've been able to approach those hardships with better understanding and coming out on top as a team. Our family grows stronger every day, thank you Dr.Contreras

I appreciate the feel of the room. Its very "homie" and feels like a safe space for me. I definitely wouldn't travel 15 miles for something if it isn't helping me. I love this place. Super understanding and supportive of my spirituality.
