When I first started therapy with Yvette, the idea of vulnerability made me beyond uncomfortable. Yvette offered me a space to be seen, heard, and understood. She taught me that change is subtle, it begins with you, and the journey is better with the help of others. I could write a book on all the ways Yvette has changed my life for the better simply by listening, encouraging, and nurturing the parts of me I repressed for so long. I have been with Yvette as a client/patient for about 2 years. In that time, she helped me understand myself in a way that I always struggled with, she saw things that other therapists I'd had either missed entirely or dismissed. I've been in therapy for nearly 20-some years and Yvette is easily the best person I've experienced therapy sessions with. I honestly don't know where I would be or what would have even happened had my dad not looked her up.

I can write an entire book on how therapy and Ivette changed my life, for the better of course. If i could rate this place a million stars i would. But let me tell you this, I think the first step of therapy is accepting that you need it due to your trauma, life, relationships etc,. Then you have to find a therapist that you feel comfortable, can confide and trust in. Ivette is the perfect profesional for that. I was in therapy for about three years, and when i entered i was a completely different person. Ivette took that chance on me, and with my efforts too i did a complete 360. I am at peace because therapy changes you. Ivette cares, about you and wants the best for you. I am thankful I came to her when I did, and accepted that i needed help, trust me Ivette and therapy won’t let you down.

I highly recommend Yvett as a therapist. In the time I spent with her, she helped guide me through my toughest days and emotions at a pace I could accept change. She never jumped to any diagnostic conclusions for a quick fix. She actually spent time helping me work through personality barriers and improved my outlook on life. I’m stronger today because of her. She’s willing to use many different avenues and tools to help you get past the personal hurdles that hold you back. Highly recommend.

Yvett was my addiction and personal counselor. When I first started going to see Yvett I could barely have a conversation with her because I was so lost and scared. I started EMDR services with Yvett in Oct 2021. It was the Start of my clinical internship in mental health counseling. She supported me as my past began to surface. I saw her weekly until May 2022 and reprocessed a deep timeline of maladaptive memories. June 2023 was ready to discharge and begin the next steps of my journey. At the beginning of my therapy sessions, I experienced a lot of anxiety and nervousness when talking to my therapist. I had encountered negative associations with previous therapists who seemed cold and distant, lacking the connection I needed. However, my experience with Yvett over the span of 2 years was completely different. I did two years with Yvette, every session was welcoming and insightful. I’ve always had issues feeling heard by other therapists/counselors, however Yvette was wonderful in making me feel seen and understood. I can say that her services have improved my quality of life exponentially, the person I was two years ago would have never even imagined how wonderful life could be. Are you looking for a place that does EMDR? If you’ve never heard of EMDR, I’d highly recommend trying it out. It’s amazing! I am able to sit with uncomfortable memories without being triggered now and even have the understanding to show myself grace at experiences where the only thing I could feel before was shame, guilt, or anger. Entire periods of my life were blocked out of my memory due to trauma and now I can gladly say I look back on my childhood fondly, something I’ve never been able to say before. Mrs. Patricia is the best for counseling. She has helped me thorough out tough times. She listens and knows how to handle the situation. I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for her. She is great with EMDR. She has been a blessing for me and my loved ones. I am so happy right now compared to when I started seeing her.
