The Best Psychiatrist in El Paso! I have been Dr. Ramirez's patient since October 2014 and he has helped me manage my depression and has kept me from "ruining my life" several times. He really listens to me and asks lots of questions instead of relying on handout forms to fill out in order to make diagnoses and assess treatment. I always get the feeling during my appointments that he is invested in my success. Only negative is that his office often calls to cancel and reschedule appointments but the new appointment is almost always during the same week and there is never a waiting time in his office.

Dr. Ramirez I like his style of practice compared to other psychiatrists or other traditional psychiatrists that just focus on medication management because its not just about medication. I've seen Dr. Ramirez since Oct 2003 than from nov 2007 through Oct 2011 receiving treatment for several mental health conditions and did improve in my overall physical and mental well-being. Dr. Arthur Ramirez talks to the patient not just writes prescriptions within five minutes of seeing you and tells you to come back in two weeks and tries to at least observe and understand with some compassion and empathy of your inner struggles. Highly recommend. I had to leave Dr. Ramirez due to finances but may return if Dr. Ramirez doesn''t retire anytime soon since I'm now doing better financially. -Damian Maynard
