Had the worst experience at this place my kids went there they charge for everything and as soon as I knew it i was over 400 in charges that didnt even needed to be charged there very unprofessional the therapist my son was seeing Jennifer came up to me in front of the whole lobby and said if I didn't pay half of what I owe and make payments that she was not going to see my kids anymore I was like ok and said ill just leave then they charged me for being late when I said I wasn't late she said I was so dont go with them they dont care about the clients only about money worset place ever
Worse service ever lack of communication both in therapists and facility alone I do not recommend this facility. The therapist Melissa Herrera very rude when explaining certain situations were put on back burner. Concerns were also put off and very insensitive.
Great experience here! I saw Iris Vazquez for individual therapy to get me through my post-partum depression (and life after). She was wonderful, very helpful, and compassionate. I also saw Belinda Galegos for couples counseling with my husband, and she was also so great. Both my husband and I really benefitted from our time with her. Only had to leave here because we moved out of state.
We Have used them on two different occassions. Both child/play therapy and adult counseling. We had had an absolute great experience with our therapists. I currently see Belinda and she has been so helpful. The therapist We used to see for my daughter is no longer with them but she was equally amazing.
I’m surprised the reviews for this place are so low. I can’t speak for all the counselors here, but I see Belinda Gallegos for couples therapy and Iris Vasquez for individual therapy and they are incredible therapists. My quality of life is significantly improving thanks to our work together. I’ve also never had issues with the front office staff, sure some of the peeps aren’t the most charismatic, but they’re nice enough and get the job done.
Counseling center of expression arts has been such an amazing experience in my daughters darkest hour! We are all here trying to survive this thing called life and having individuals as therapist as these and providing a safe place is all I asked for! Thank you Stacey for being a hero without a cape! So much respect!!!!!!
No commutation between front desk and counselor. Have left messages to let them know my child wouldn't be in session that day (twice) and apparently the counselor never received my messages. This I know because counselor would call me back on following appointment day questioning on missed appointments. Plus is not professional on leaving messages. Would not recommend. Not much of an "expressive arts" counseling if not being offered. The name needs to change to just Counsel
Waited 20 minutes in lobby to be called for appointment. Therapist Valentina calls me on cellphone to ask where my daughter is at because we are late? My daughter mentioned not much was done on first therapy session. She said they really don't have much (art) material for the art therapy counseling program. Asked for family counseling sessions and was told would have to see if they could do it. Other families were going in together. Questionable counseling practices...for domestic family/PTSD trauma issues. Family counseling center is far more accomodating....disappointing.
Really horrible place ! The counselor who was attending my daughter retired stated that she would find another counselor for my daughter this never happened. The counselor never called us back and my daughter was no longer treated due to fact there overbooked now and not accepting other patients
The CCOEA is a great resource for mental health services. My family and I have been using their services for years, and are extremely pleased with their knowledge, guidance, and professionalism. Mr. J. Ayoub has been a great family counselor. The center is always sending their counselors to professional development to learn the latest research and implement best practices for each situation. We truly appreciate the staff's willingness to go above and beyond for our family and highly recommend their services. You will not find a center in El Paso that is more equipped. If you and a counselor don't match, they will work with you to find one that can best fit your need. They have a large and diverse staff. End the stigma on mental health and seek your peace. It starts with you.
