Caring, understanding and helpful. Doctor Joseph always replies to my messages and I am very grateful for this. She answers any questions that I have or helps me with any issues that arise. I have met with 5 other doctors in the past, but Doctor Joseph has taken her time with me. To do exams, ask questions and get to know me a little better.

We could not have been any more pleased with Dr. Joseph. My daughter recently had an appointment for the seizures she has been having. Dr. Joseph was kind, patient and a great listener. She listened to all of our concerns and explained what our options were moving forward. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Joseph listened very carefully and asked really good, targeted questions of my mother and me about the events which led us to her office. Her potential diagnosis is out of the box from what other medical personnel have given, which mostly is “inconclusive” or “no diagnosis” thus very frustrating. I am therefore relieved to have experienced Dr. Joseph’s meticulous listening skills and clear communication, giving me hope of help for my mother. Thank you, Dr. Joseph.

Dr. Joseph is very kind and straight to the point. She wants to help all her patients. She helped me with figuring out the next steps to my diagnosis and setting up all the appointments I am needing in her office and giving me references to outside offices.

I always avoid writing negative reviews, but I've never more felt like being on a conveyor belt of a monolithic system that had absolutely no concern for me as an individual. I was quickly prescribed medicine against my better judgement. I was sent to do a sleep study even though I said I didn't have Sleep Apnea. I told the neurologist that I had to wake up occasionally to urinate and her response was that "perhaps you have a Sleep disorder and then just decide to go to the restroom since you're awake." I was trying to discuss things that could have triggered my mini seizures and the neurologist simply ignored everything I was saying. I was referred to the surgeon across the hall and after month I went to make an appointment and couldn't because they hadn't received the referral. Anyway, I have other issues, but those are the ones that made me seek care elsewhere. When I got my paperwork, she had written on there that I was in non-compliance with the Sleep Apnea suspicion. I hesitate to call it a diagnosis. This kind of treatment is my worst nightmare where one gets tossed into the most convenient protocol simply to generate unnecessary tests, treatments and prescriptions and I, the patient, am just a resource for generating income.

Her office sent me for $4k worth of scans to an independent imaging company. Imaging company requires everything to be paid up front (my deductible had already been met). When I told them I couldn’t afford it, they were conveniently an in house financer. I asked Dr. Valentina to switch scans through the Baylor hospital she works out of. She refused saying “it would be the same cost.” I told her I understand but the hospital has payment plans. She still refused. Which tells me she must get a commission every time a patient of hers signs up for a line of credit with the independent imaging company. This is what our healthcare system has become. Despicable.

My wife's first visit here. Great nursing staff. Relaxing atmosphere. The doctor is excellent. I'd definitely recommend her.
