I’ve had a great experience with Wild Fig Functional Medicine. Sarah is thoughtful, thorough, and never makes appointments feel rushed. She actually listens, asks good questions, and works to get to the root of what’s going on instead of just treating symptoms. Her approach is holistic but still very evidence-based, and she explains things clearly so you understand the “why” behind the plan. I’ve felt supported every step of the way and would absolutely recommend Wild Fig to anyone looking for more personalized care.
I’ve had an incredible experience working with Sarah. She took the time to truly listen to my goals and concerns, and her recommendations were thoughtful, informed, and easy to understand. One thing I especially appreciated is her ability to meet people exactly where they are—whether you’re brand-new to functional medicine with no idea where to start, or you’ve already done your own research and want a more collaborative approach. I was someone who wanted a more collaborative approach and got that. She helped me implement changes step by step and adjusted the plan as different results came in. Her timely follow-ups and continued support made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the care I received and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a functional medicine provider who genuinely cares.
I have had a great experience working with Sarah Carson. She is very knowledgable, has created a personal plan for me and my health journey, listens to my concerns and takes the time to explain things to me. Her office is also very nice and centrally located. I would highly recommend working with Sarah for anyone looking into functional health!
I can't speak to the medical side but I had a weirdish experience. They asked before even scheduling a "discovery call" if I was willing to spend at least $2600. I said I found the question alarming from a perspective of not ovetreating, and wanted an explanation if I was going to continue. During the call, Sarah was non defensive in explaining it as just a heads up about what costs can be, which I found reassuring, and at the end she said I could schedule if I wanted to. Months later when I requested an appointment, they first sent intake paperwork but then sent a message saying that they don't treat my condition. I wrote back rather confused and said I'd been open about my condition in the discovery call but had said I wanted help with related gut and hormone questions, and had been told I could schedule. Sarah then replied and referenced my mistrustful reaction to being asked if I would spend $2600 as a reason we would not be a good fit. I can understand if they didn't see me as a good fit and at this point I don't even disagree, I just wish the communication could have been clearer and more consistent.
I can't say enough great things about Sarah. I have worked with a couple functional providers but when I found Sarah a few years ago I haven't looked back. She listens and provides invaluable insights. She believes in getting to the root cause of things and the path she takes to get there is balanced and realistic. She is a rarity in the healthcare world.
I’ve been working with Sarah Carson for a year and a half and I feel like a completely different person! She’s gone above and beyond to help me identify the root cause of my issues and create a regime that works best for my body. She truly listens and bases her decisions on both what I’m telling her I’m feeling and what the test results say. I feel like a lot of doctors brush you off if your test results are “within range”. Sarah digs deeper. She has truly helped change my life. All aspects of my health (physical and mental) have improved since working with her. I can’t thank her enough!
After 4+ years of seeing conventional doctors about various issues (stomach, blood sugar, etc.) who provided band-aid solutions or told me nothing was wrong, I decided to give functional medicine a try. I read other google reviews and felt good about meeting with Sarah. I can't explain how lucky I feel to have found her. She targeted the root cause of my problems and put me on a path to recovery. Not only am I significantly better than when I came to her, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel to feeling like myself again. Sarah is very approachable, kind, and honestly very fun to talk to. I look forward to every appointment! If you are on the fence about trying out functional medicine, don't wait any longer - it is life changing.
Sarah has truly been a gift to me. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable but she is also compassionate, kind and very thorough. She truly wants you to learn and understand how your body works and will spend a significant amount of time with you to that end. I'm so glad that I found a Functional Medicine practitioner in Sarah. Finding someone who wants to identify the root cause and treat that has made all the difference. And she's empowered me with knowledge so that I can take ownership of my health journey.
Sarah Carson is the BEST provider. She is very thorough and so wise. She takes time to explain complex health issues. She is patient, kind, and honest. She took extra time to educate me and through our appointments I have been motivated to live a healthier life in all areas. I had the priviledge to be her student for a semester and now I am a patient! She has helped me so much- as a provider and friend! I would recommend Sarah to anyone who has chronic and complex issues and also to anyone who just wants to live a healthier life!
Since being under the care of Sarah Carson my quality of life has drastically improved. My husband and I decided we would dedicate 2020 to our health and finding Sarah to help us along the way was such a blessing. I have battled health issues for several years. At one point, I never thought I would be able to get away from chronic fatigue, weight gain, sleep issues, migraines, acne, stomach problems… The list could go on. I was interested in functional medicine, but always struggled to trust someone, as I had been failed by providers in the past. Under Sarah's care, I have lost weight and do not struggle with even one single issue I did prior to seeing her in January. She addressed what was going on from head to toe and found the root cause as to what was going on in my body. She has given me my life back. If you are looking for a provider who will listen to you, care for you, and teach you to take control of your health all in a natural, sustainable way, then look no further. She is truly a blessing and touches the lives of everyone she encounters.
