In the beginning Reid was very kind, benevolent & extremely familiar with medications to treat anxiety and depression. However, over time he had prescribed me a number of pills, and yes I questioned him. He promised that I was safe. Over time I had such serious side effects (like driving while in a black out); too many dangerous side effects. I ended up in Shoal Creek Psychiatric Hospital for two weeks from being over medicated. By him, who I had trusted with my life.

Extremely self centered, entitled, and inconsiderate to other therapists and clients who share the same building. You all know "that guy". Well Reid is "that guy".

Reid is in a shared therapy facility and is loud and extremely inconsiderate to others who are undergoing therapy. Imagine trying to bring up childhood trauma, getting into that state of mind, and then having someone walk up and down the hallway singing loudly. As a Mental Health professional himself, he should know better.

Reid Minot is the kindest medical professional I've encountered for years. His wisdom, patience, interest in you and professionalism is beyond reproach. I'm deeply grateful to him on many levels.

I wish there were more Reid Minot's in the health community. Despite a long and ongoing battle with PTSD and anxiety attacks, I feel much more confident in facing these issues head on with the tools Reid has given me to work with. He is compassionate and understands how I go through peaks and valleys and doesn't belittle me (as another reviewer suggested) in fact, quite the opposite. I'm not embarrassed to tell him how I'm feeling fearful or sick because he responds with such an understanding tone making it so much easier to open up. Reid takes time out of his own busy life to make sure you are able to see him even if the hours are not typical office hours. I went from being terrified to drive my own vehicle after a car accident, to being what my husband calls a "road warrior" ๐Ÿ˜‰ I could go on and on singing his praises, but I felt the need to provide my experience after reading the negative review below. We all have our own opinions and what is one persons cup of tea may not be another's, but my experience is so far opposite of the negative review I find it hard to feel there isn't something deeper going on, or missing from the story. Reid does tell it like it is. No doubt about that, but for me it's exactly the way I need to make progress and it's never been in a rude or intimidating manner, just tough love and with a smile. Now if only I could find a PCP that I get along with as well as Reid that made me feel like more than just another number. I have such gratitude for medical professionals like Reid!

Reid is amazing and nothing at all like the awful review i just read. That is so unlike the Reid I know. He is kind, concerned, honest, respectful and very knowledgeable. I trust very few counselors/psychiatrists and Reid has helped me realize that there are still some exceptional healthcare providers about.

Reid is awesome. I've been seeing him for about 4 years now. He is no nonsense and I might even call him inspirational (although I can see him rolling his eyes at the turn of phrase). He has really allowed me to take control of my mental health and just to pay attention to what my body and mood are saying. He will give it to you straight with no fluff or BS which is what I know I need in a mental health professional. Needless to say I'm am totally on team Reid
