If I could give zero stars I would !!! , main reason I went was because I got referred by my doctor but from the start everyone was very unprofessional and rude people , the person that did my intake was a male and he made me feel uncomfortable and was very judgmental and wasn’t no help and was asking me odd questions after a wile of just silence and typing he just told me to schedule a appointment at the front , since the beginning the front desk lady’s are really rude as well when I walked out the room I was in , I had asked one of the front desk ladies if that was all if I had to schedule anything else she ignored me didn’t pay no attention as soon i was going to go whit the other lady she told me “that’s all” , overall I don’t recommend this place !!!
I have been going to this particular clinic for about 4 months now and they have helped me with me helping myself. (Say that 3 times fast)... Anyway, this place is definitely here (in my opinion) to help you get off any and every type of drug(s) and hopefully keep you off after. I really respect and appreciate the work the people here are doing for addicts like me.
The people that scheduling. Some of them are very rude. they keep on hanging up phone. They supposed to transfer my phone call. They hanging the phone . Even when I try to call back it will go through the phone. I couldn't never go back.
These people care for nothing except money. If you don't have it, go elsewhere. Draw a stick figure on a wall and talk to it instead. It'll help you more than this place. They won't even respond to you. Even if you tell them you wish to leave this world, all they will do is call the cops on you. These people are not here to help, only to collect a paycheck at the taxpayers expense.
They sent police to my home because I took anxiety medication that was prescribed to me during the call. This resulted in me being severely harmed by the abuser I was trying to escape. When I tried to seek help again, I sat waiting in a park only to be stood up by their crisis team who made no attempt to reach me at either of cellphone numbers they had been given for me. The way Integral Care operates is not only unhelpful, it's extremely dangerous to those they are meant to serve.
Edit: still a great place for help. Don't give up! Great Dr on staff, councilors are very helpful. As with all treatment facilities, it is what u make of it. Is a great place to succeed. Amazing place that when used properly saves lives. New director makes the place a lil more tolerable for most. I never had an issue myself. But biggest complaints i hear are all just excuses. Follow the rules, work your program and avoid clinic follys such as hanging oit w people u meet there and CAN succeed!
I had to go see someone with u guys for custody court and I did my evaluation with Ms. Megan Moriarty and she was so so so nice, easy to talk to, patiently explained everything that I had questions about and I had a lot of questions because I didn’t want anything to even be able to be slightly misinterpreted… she was welcoming and made me feel comfortable and very rarely is someone so kind to strangers in a setting like that. And even more rarely do I take time to leave reviews but this woman is an angel and I’m happy she did my mental examination today. Thank you!
I am an out of state psychologist who has contacted Integral Care on several occasions to get services for my nephew who lives in Austin. They have been exceedingly helpful every time. They clearly described their process and it has been flawless every time. In 30 years of my own practice, I have rarely seen such great service from a community mental health agency. Bravo to everyone there!
Worked well enough to stabilize after a suicide attempt. But I was told I was going to meet with the clinician and a caseworker within 24 hours upon intake (8pm 1/11). I saw the clinician the next morning and she wanted to mess with all my meds (I self advocated and said no). I didn’t see a case worker until yesterday evening (1/13). I made a plan for returning home and I tried to implement that plan by having my husband and family visit, was told yes by my caseworker, then was denied by his higher up and was basically told I had enough help at home so I could recover there (which was actually the original problem and why I checked myself in because I wasn’t recovering well). I discharged shortly after. I’m so far doing ok, but not happy with how they handled (or failed to handle) my case.
Just be aware for those who had been calling all the time before business hours, right now there seems no convenience to call for an appointment before business hours so that you are not put on hold and you get to speak with an agent to schedule an appointment on time. Right now at 7:50 am before 8:00 am on a Monday I tried to call the phone number and robot mentioned “for appointments, press 1,” and after pressing 1, a male robot returns with “the office is now closed.” So just be aware thay if you gave your boss permission around 7:50 which I did, then the boss might get upset if you wait until 8:00 am to finally make a call. The staff are friendly. It might be just a phone system flaw with the clinic. Update: I just called at 8:01 am and have been returned with a lady that her way of speaking and her androgynous voice didn’t seem to care about my immediate needs. She told me that my case was closed even though I’ve seen the nurse to refill my medication on May or at the end of April, and then she tells me that at that time all the clinics were closed and everybody was working from home when I had my appointment in person face to face with a nurse inside the building! So I’m calling right now to make an appointment with my doctor at my convenience because I didn’t have time to do it during work. So this lady said she didn’t seem to find my nurse appointment in the system, that I had around April or May. But I know if a different agent who is compassionate would have looked at the system, it would clarify that appointment and the case being closed would be a mistake and they could schedule for an appointment. But that lady even refused to check through the months, and right now I’m being scheduled for a intake and from there I have to wait anxiously more several days without my prescribed medications until my doctor’s appointment is finally made! Update: The lady told me that she failed to transfer me to another agent and now I’m stock with this careless employee who is working from home. At least my appointment is made the next day. I will speak with the staff that day to see what they can do to fix the system. Update: after confirming my intake appointment I am now being on put on hold for miserably 20 minutes to complete the process, and now my boss will get upset and I am have the fear to be documented (write up). Update: the system was not working properly, so that’s why there was this long hold.
