Lisa is the best yoga instructor I have ever had, and I've had a lot, being a yoga dilettante for the past decade. She's fun, patient, extremely focused on making sure her students are doing the poses properly and safely. She is truly a gem. I will keep taking classes from her as long as she's teaching them. I've been to a class taught by another teacher here as well and it was also good. The space is very clean and they provide equipment and bottled water.

Energies Balanced is the best yoga studio that I’ve ever been to, period. Lisa and all of the instructors have an insane wealth of detailed knowledge about the human body, which is what I find so impressive about this studio compared to other studios that allow instructors who have minimal experience. All the instructors are highly trained to adjust you in all positions, which helps with your knowledge of various asanas, but also keeps you safe and makes you feel like they care enough to provide a hands-on experience. There are countless asanas that I haven’t been doing correctly for years, and I went into the studio and they adjusted me so I very deeply felt the position. In the past year and a half, my knowledge of my body and asana alignment has improved considerably, and going to this studio is one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my health. I also just got my first massage by Todd and I’ve never had such a comprehensive and detailed massage - I’ll never go anywhere else. Final side note: I love that this is a local business that’s co-owned by a woman of color because the community reflected is so welcoming and diverse. Don’t hesitate to try this place out and support local, mom and pop businesses like Energies Balanced. Your body will thank you.

I’ve been going to Todd for years, and he’s the best masseur that I’ve ever had. I initially went in with issues with my calves and hamstrings but quickly upgraded to the full body massage. Todd is friendly and always make sure that you’re comfortable. I can’t imagine going to any other massage therapist. I highly recommend.

Last week I took a class with Aleisha (Wednesdays at 12pm), which was amazing! Aleisha customized the class to things that I wanted to practice (heart openers, hip alignment, stretching), as it had been a few weeks since my last class. The best part was using the wall straps --- I received the effects of three yoga classes in one as I was able to get deeper into each stretch/posture! Even though I had never used these, Aleisha made it easy by demonstrating then helping me get into the different postures to help amplify my practice. Afterwards, I felt GREAT for days and my body felt extremely happy, while with other yoga classes and studios usually take 3+ classes to achieve this and are quite crowded in the room. Additionally, Aleisha gave hands-on adjustments (if you're okay with this), which, I find, other studios in town rarely do (this helps me deepen my practice). This studio, the space, and the teachers are positive, friendly, and non-judgmental. I love that the teachers and studio embody the principles and energy of yoga. Plus classes are great value ($12 drop-in rate). You should try this studio, especially a class with the wall straps!

Intimate, clean, friendly studio. Classes are usually on the smaller side, so you get more attention.

I absolutely love this spot. I only met Lisa in passing but was able to pick up on how genuine and sincere she is. Meg carries a warm and healing aura. And the space provides everything I want from a Yoga Studio. For me, it's ideal. Will definitely be going back
