Dr Crooks has been treating me for about 7 years. He has always been supportive, really listened to my concerns and provided sound advice on how to improve my mental health. I highly recommend him.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Crooks for about five years, originally at my therapist’s recommendation when I was unsure whether medication was the right step for me. From our very first appointment, he took the time to truly listen and understand what I was experiencing, which immediately made me feel supported and at ease. What sets Dr. Crooks apart is his whole-person approach. You will be able to tell from your first visit with him that he is warm, relational, and compassionate. Our visits never feel rushed or limited to medication management because he thoughtfully incorporates psychotherapy into our sessions and ensures the treatment is collaborative. I still remember tools and skills he taught me from our first visit that help me today! I’m incredibly grateful for the role he’s played in my growth and well-being. I would highly recommend Dr. Crooks to anyone looking for a psychiatrist who values both effective treatment and meaningful, holistic care.
Fantastic physician, he really provides a whole of person approach. Diet, sleep, exercise are so important to psychological wellbeing and he spends the time to really discuss and understand how you are treating yourself and your mental health in a broader way. Extremely knowledgeable and has an incredible “bedside manner”. Couldn’t recommend him more.
Dr. Crooks is very nice, knowledgeable, and really listens. He gives recommendations and clearly explains why he believes it is the best course of action. He helped me drastically change my life for the better. Highly recommend
