massage itself was good if not great. but the therapist routinely left the door cracked so anyone walking by could see into the room. and kept leaving the room every time a new customer came in. and the online booking is worthless because the therapist you pick in the booking is often not actually available and they just give you a different person.
My fiancΓ© and I did a couples massage and we highly recommend. Our massage therapists were amazing and we will definitely be coming back when we visit Austin.
Wicky was wonderful! Good strong masseuse and very thorough. I will be back soon π
The massage itself was very good, and the therapist was skilled. However, the session was interrupted frequentlyβabout six or seven times during the hour. Each time, the therapist had to leave the room to answer the door, which broke the flow and made it hard to fully relax. Although the appointment was scheduled for one hour, the repeated interruptions meant significantly less uninterrupted massage time overall. Because of this, the experience didnβt quite match expectations for a full one-hour session.
Came here on a whim. It had been some time since my last massage, and stumbled upon the place on Google. Definitely don't regret it. Got there around 10:30am. It wasn't busy at all. The entire experience was very routine. The massage therapists asked if I wanted medium or hard pressure. After that, they never spoke to me, which was appreciated since I was there to relax. The massage therapists started with over the sheet work for about five minutes and from there, moved into the standard bare skin work. Thank you to everyone there for being nice, accommodating, and for giving me one of the best massages ever. I wish I knew the names of my massage therapists so I could recommend them personally.
Came here right after the UT football game and they were kindly able to squeeze me and my 2 friends in without an appointment. Massage was great and the staff were really nice. Would go again
Came to Calm Spa after a football game. My massage therapist gave me a deep massage combo which included a foot massage. She gave the perfect pressure. The spa was very clean and pretty. I would highly recommend!
Great massage. No fuss. No small talk. Just efficient. Pressure started soft, but rather quickly ramped up to a generous amount. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say the pressure wound up at about a 7-or-8. Probably too much for some people. The massage therapist never asked me how much pressure I wanted, but I found the pressure to be perfect. If you do not like strong massages, I'm sure you can ask for it to be more gentle. The whole thing felt very "routine". So my experience was about 40-45 minutes having every muscle from the back of my neck down to my feet worked strongly and efficiently - twice. A lot of oil was involved. Then 5 minutes of a massage with a hot towel for both some heat therapy and to help clean off oil residue. Lastly I flipped over to my back for 10-15 minutes working the muscles from that angle. Maybe it was the therapist I had. Maybe it was the time of day. I am not certain. However I appreciated the relaxing and quiet (no chatting) massage. If you want to have a conversation with your massage therapist and or expect them to ask you questions about your massage preferences, I'm not sure if this is the place for you - however I would still recommend anyone looking for a good price for a massage in Austin check it out at least once!
Excellent! Walked-in welcome! I came in with a plan for 30mins but she was excellent and focused on the problem area (lower back)! Here for a trip and needed it before a big day! Highly recommend!
Had a really nice massage here! I was able to call and get in in 30 mins (granted it was a Monday). But the lady did a great job for a 60 mins combo massage. Definitely recommend if you want an affordable massage!
