Jennifer has been an amazing partner to me throughout my healing journey. She has helped me embrace uncertainty and fear, by getting to the roots of my trauma, creating healthy boundaries and unlocking my understanding that I too, deserve a great life. We worked with so many amazing tools (including EMDR, which was a game changer for me) and she patiently helped me build an arsenal of skills that will empower me for years to come. She created a circle of trust that made me feel like I could confide anything to her and that I would not be judged even if she gave me her perspective -- I always felt comfortable discussing anything with her. From marital/relationship difficulties, to divorce, to childhood trauma to learning how to ground yourself in joy - I would can't recommend Jennifer highly enough if you want a partner in therapy!
Jennifer Edwards has helped both my wife and I over many many years. She has walked with us through a number of challenging and rewarding seasons and our time with her has made us better individuals and has strengthen our marriage. Both of us have also benefited greatly from EMDR therapy with Jennifer. Currently Jennifer is helping me with my self-care and self esteem issues. I can’t say enough about her wisdom, insight and caring. Highly recommend.
Jennifer Edwards is a healer. Helping me (and dozens of others) find our way to a truer, more compassionate and integrated version of ourselves. She’s nurturing and warm, with a strong backbone. She has graciously held space and sat in the tension of some of my hardest seasons of life, while still holding me accountable to show up authentically. I genuinely have never seen someone so passionately and professionally invested in the possibility of her clients potential. She knows her worth and she is worth it!
Jennifer is an extraordinary therapist. She is tremendously caring and nurturing. She is comfortable being direct, when necessary, and in the most gentle, validating manner. She shows up authentically and it is so clear that she is fully invested in helping. I'm generally self-aware and I've gained insight from therapy in the past, but Jennifer's magic lies in quickly identifying problematic, stuck areas that you may not be at all aware of. Her skill is in knowing how to address these areas so that you can really see and feel the progress you've made. She is absolutely invaluable to me giving myself the life I deserve and I am so grateful.
I have been seeing Jennifer for about 4 years now, and I am so fortunate to have found her from the start without having to "therapist shop." She has helped me in so many different areas – from severe religious trauma to anxiety to relationships to self-confidence and beyond. Jennifer truly listens and asks questions without judgment. I immediately felt safe with her from my first session. She is always warm, very personable, patient, and down to earth. I leave each session feeling better and empowered. Growth never stops, but I have seen a huge improvement in my life overall since seeing her. I am also a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and she is very in tune and aware of the unique circumstances that come with it. Jennifer is never afraid to be direct about something I need to hear but she does so with much care and tact. She is extremely knowledgeable and always very professional. In addition to talk therapy, she is great with EMDR and always provides resources that are relevant to helping me (worksheets, book recommendations, etc.). If you are looking for a therapist, reach out to Jennifer. You will not be disappointed.
Therapy with Jennifer has been, and still is, so impactful to my relationship with my wife and our childrens’ lives. I have had therapy in the past, but not until this experience have I felt supported, nurtured and challenged to process and heal in such a way that I could and did begin that work. When I have been resistant, she has been patient and nurturing, yet firm. I cannot imagine the lives of myself and my family had we not found Jennifer.
I have had several therapists over the years and no one else even comes close to Jennifer Edwards. She listens without judgment (honestly, I've never surprised her and I can tell her anything). She is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional, which means she has a massive toolbox of methods to help you navigate life successfully (including EMDR, which I highly recommend). My life, my career, my personal relationships, my finances, and my future are better because of her work. She's a true expert and you won't find a better therapist--I can guarantee that.
I’ve been to a lot therapists in my lifetime and Jennifer by far is at the very top. She has transformed my marriage in only a year. Her knowledge of mental health disorders, ADD, and the many layers of the autism spectrum, helped to answer questions we’ve long held onto about ourselves and the complications of close relationships. She’s a wonderful life-saver and is worth the wait!!
Jennifer is amazing. Simply. Amazing. Worth every penny, worth any waiting period, worth ANYTHING. If you actually want help - serious, down-to-earth, accepting and safe HELP - GO SEE HER.
The Best!!
