My husband and I visited our friends’ daughter today, and we were truly amazed by the kindness and professionalism we experienced. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to help us. We interacted with four different people, and each one treated us with genuine care, respect, and warmth. Two of them even walked with us to make sure we knew exactly where to go. It made us reflect on how wonderful it would be if everyone treated one another with this level of compassion. These individuals showed not only professionalism but also a sincere goodness of heart. Because of this experience, we immediately felt inspired to contribute to this hospital — it’s clear that the management has placed the right people in the right roles. Thank you to each and every one of you who treated us like family. And a special shout‑out to the management for hiring such dedicated professionals who carry out their work with such meticulous care.
Recently reached out to St Jude's Children's Hospital my 5-year-old daughter has a rare mutation thinking that maybe Saint Jude's could help me or point me in the right directions at first it started off great they were telling me that they have this research program for my daughter's mutation and they would love to fly us out worked on all the paperwork and got everything sent to them regarding my daughter and then one day out of the blue they called me and told me they have to put the brakes on this seems that they're not actively researching my daughter's mutation after all what's left me and my family heartbroken I feel like somebody punched us in the stomach. Now we try to find answers for this little girl who needs some so disappointed
I donate to the Hospital, Mr.Thomas who started the Hospital was a true angel from God, all the Children who have been saved is a true Miracle. Children are the most important people on the earth we must always put them first in life.If u can afford 19 dollars a month to help a child then please donate 🙏, God Bless the Hospital and the staff and Doctors and Nurses. The best part is to see the children smiling and laughing just being kids .
I was at st Jude in 1988 for wilms tumor. Cancer of the kidney and it spread to my liver. I was 8 years old. It was the worst and best time I ever spent in a hospital. The nurses and doctors made me comfortable as they could after surgery as I had to spend a few months there. The worst was the treatment. But you couldn't make the treatment better. I would say they deserve all 5 and 5 more stars. If I had a child that was sick I would love for them to go there and get better. I wish I could donate more!
The 2025 run was held Saturday, August 2, beginning in Macomb IL and concluding in Peoria. Multiple segments launched from surrounding towns as part of a larger regional relay—Bloomington-Normal, Canton, Galesburg, etc.—each leg bringing together hundreds of local supporters . Peoria’s affiliation with St. Jude dates back to 1972, rooted in the founder’s personal connection to the city—emphasizing a long and meaningful community partnership. This relay is not a race, but a fundraising event with the sole purpose of supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Since its inception, the St. Jude Runs network has raised more than $94 million for research and patient treatment—funds that ensure families never get billed for care, travel, or lodging. Proud sponsor 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♂️💨❤️
I have a story to tell. A very recent story, that is likely to come to a close as of today. My stepfather was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago. He is no longer with us. But thanks to the kindness of Ms Stephanie and the amazing staff at St. Jude, he passed in the arms of his loved ones. Typically they don’t treat grown men, but My Stepfather was family to these people, and they made his last days on this earth bearable. One of the doctors however, his incompetence astonished me. The man in charge of quality control, did not have the treatment ready as we discussed, even though we had been discussing it for an absurd amount of time, and as such, My stepfather’s last hours were burdened by pain and fear. My mother, has not yet recovered from watching her husband die today. We are doing everything we can. However I will not allow the incompetence of one man to tarnish the reputation of an entire facility, who did everything they could. They sat with my mother as she wailed in grief on the floor, they made sure every family member was fed, and most of all they gave my stepfather a fighting chance. The United Methodist of Memphis hospital (which I will write a review for shortly) looks like a drug den in comparison to the Wonderful and kind Hospital of Saint Jude. Saint Jude is a safe, well trained, well protected, and extremely well equipped Research Center, and I hope that they will use the Tumors that My stepfather wished to give them upon his death for research, to make progress. Thank you Saint Jude, you make every penny, every nanosecond, and every ounce of research count.
It's all about the kids not about the merchandise. I grew up in a poor family and am the fifth child out of eight. Only have a mother who taught me that no matter the condition you're in you can still give. Now that I'm grown I give to St. Judes and it is the only organization I will give too. For the kids ♡ I hope and pray for the kids and the familys for a speedy recovery, and peace for the parents for their children who fought the battle but found rest instead. They are in Gods hands and waiting for a family reunion.
I have been nothing short of amazed at this hospital. I don’t even know how to adequately give them the recognition they deserve. This is truly, the best hospital I have ever stepped foot in. I’m a licensed medical professional as well. So inevitably, my standards are high and they have blown my expectations and surpassed them by miles. This is an organization I will donate and give to for the rest of my life, with ZERO hesitation. It holds a huge piece of our heart and I am so incredibly grateful to have them treat my son.
St.Jude is the BEST hospital in the US. I love the care and service our family received during my child's treatment for cancer. Best thing we will never have to worry about the medical debt our insurance didn't cover, which is well over a million dollars.
I had a tour of the hospital and pavilion. This organization is full of class and care. For those that don't know, St Jude's Children's Hospital shares all of it's discoveries the world over and doesn't charge for this information. This is consistent with it's core mission of saving lives. Thousands around the world have been positively affected by this information sharing without ever coming in contact with SJCH. The people who work here are passionate about helping kids heal and stay as comfortable as possible during their treatment! I met a couple of dozen people that work or volunteer here. All of them were energized by the SJCH mission. It was refreshing to encounter so many people that feel they are where they should be. Several of them have been working here for 20+ years! I encourage support in materials, time, or money donations to St Jude Children's Hospital whenever possible. The work they do is amazing.
