I am honestly surprised there aren't any google reviews on here but he has great reviews on other sites too. I have been seeing Dr.Varner for what feels like a year now possibly. But its closer to about 8 months approximately. He is an amazing and kind doctor. My first appointment i felt like i didnt have to hide my concerns and could honestly speak with him about my experiences. He takes into consideration your opinion as well on what you feel would best help you. If it makes sense he doesn't force you to try multiple different alternatives that you have already tried. Sure if he cant medically advocate for something he will say so but i have never had an issue with him. I feel like i can be honest with him and i wouldn't be punished for it. As an african american some doctors can make you feel like if you say the wrong thing then you are just drug seeking or an addict even if your medical history supports your words. Here i have never felt that way a single time. He is a pretty Young Guy in my Opinion and i am only in my mid 20’s but i even briefly talked about a game with him that we both happened to be playing. great at building Rapport but good at allowing you Privacy if you so need it. I highly, highly, recommend going to him for anyone who is considering going to a psychiatrist. After your medication is decided on then refill request appointments can even be done through virtual meetings for those of us who may not be able to always take a day off work for a doctor appointment but could schedule one on a lunch break etc. CHECK HIM OUT!!!!! He is the best!!!!
