My experience with Neil was transformational. Room for Therapy have established a warm and welcoming space in which you can establish a strong, open, and nurturing relationship. I was always a little sceptical about therapy, but Neil actively listened and worked with me to evaluate challenges, foster positive change, and equip me with tools to 'manage forward'. A fully supportive experience. Highly recommended.

When I first met Phil I felt completely stuck in my life. Anxiety consumed my every day, I was miserable and I hated who I was. I couldn't do anything without judging myself, and I believed that everyone around me was judging me just as harshly. I tried various therapies in the past, but struggled to build a connection or make any progress. I felt lost, invisible, and never truly understood. Phil gave me the space I needed to share my thoughts, emotions and experiences in a safe, empathetic and non judgemental environment. It allowed me to build trust and a strong connection with him. I could be completely vulnerable with him and always felt safe enough to do so. Phil would often challenge me to see things in another perspective. We would sit and feel through emotions together, celebrating the highs and being gentle with the lows. He made me feel understood, seen, important and valid. I learned how to sit with uncertainty, be less judgemental and more patient with myself. I was able to forgive myself for past mistakes, allowing me to detach my worth from my actions and move on. The work we did together was difficult, but life changing. My relationship with myself has completely changed for the better. I found the courage to be creative again, to explore who I am and who I want to be. I explore my thoughts, feelings and actions gently, with more curiosity and less judgement. I am who I am today not only because of the work I invested in myself, but also because of the work that Phil invested in me. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
