I have been a service user of the Stafford Centre for over 10 years and I have nothing but postive things to say, The staff are magic and very supportive, I am able to be myself and chat to other people on the cafe, Its such a relaxed place and people are supportive and we support one another, Bella our therapet is so sweet and such an asset on good days and bad days she will.come over and sit and likes her belly rubs. Joe our Cafe Manager makes delicious meals and has a great personality, James our senior support worker is very supportive and hardworking and approachable...John and michele our managers are great too they work very hard and always up for a chat. I like the fact that after a while being there you can volunteer which i was doing and really enjoyed it working along side Joe in the cafe.and calum. It can be daunting the first time you come but you make friends quickly and you soon become relaxed around people. Karaoke is great on a friday, there is no pressure to chat to folk if you just want your own space. All in all The centre has been a lifeline and a huge support over the years and I hope to be involved for years to come......

Have had Contact with Stafford Centre, I do not know where this place is I was referred there, Ken, the worker DiD not even have the decency to actually give me the proper address of this Building, instead Ken the Worker gave me directions to follow, Go to Giraffe at Omni centre then walk back, go down Broughton road or Broughton street and look for Various shops, and I would find them there, day of Appointment Ken again was unable to give me the exact address just walk down the street look for various Buildings and I would find them their. Ken go get a job you can do like telling people just to walk down that Street, I have internal health problems, Ken a Supposed support worker could only give me the Address this week, via phone msg giving me Guess what, the Address, when everything is to late, negative response from here Warning. Keep away from Ken at Stafford Centre, he won't support you just make you Much Much Worse.

Living with a mental illness is very tough, everything is scary. But this place is a relaxed place that makes things seem possible again and that is all you can ask of such an environment

Returning to the Stafford Centre after some years away is a great experience for me. To mix with lots of different people and to be able able to participate in the various group activities when able is great. being able to persue my interest in art here is brilliant and I look forward to many more visits. I must also mention not only how nice the members are but how good all volunteers and staff are too.
