Highly highly recommend, I was diagnosed with ADHD by Darren who couldn’t have been nicer and more understanding if he tried, I was supposed to have my ID ready for the call and I didn’t (bit of a giveaway) but he was very patient. I recommend AuDHD Psychiatry to anyone I can, just had the painter round whose son is on the NHS and have been let down by private psychiatrists.
I am very happy to have had the experience to talk to Darren O'Reilly. He made me feel comfortable and I was able to feel calm during the assessment. The assessment was thorough. I was able to think and answer the questions with minimal tension. Before I booked my questions were answered in short time. Everyone I talked to was very helpful.
Dr. Darren O'Reilly made a safe space during the assessment for me to feel comfortable opening up about my struggles and experiences. I highly recommend him and his practice.
I recently had my ADHD assessment with Dr. O’Reilly, and I felt genuinely listened to and respected throughout the whole process. He created a calm, supportive environment where I could speak openly without feeling rushed or judged. The assessment was thorough and clearly explained, which helped me feel confident about the next steps. What stood out most was his kindness and clarity—he not only guided me through the clinical side but also acknowledged the human side of what it means to seek an assessment. I left feeling understood, reassured, and better equipped to move forward. I would highly recommend Dr. O’Reilly to anyone considering an ADHD assessment.
I went through the process for ADHD assessment with AuDHD Psychiatry in Edinburgh entirely online, and it was such a smooth and supportive experience. Dr Darren was absolutely fantastic – empathetic, thorough, and very knowledgeable. He really took the time to listen and explain things clearly, which made me feel completely at ease. It’s rare to find someone who combines such expertise with genuine compassion, but Dr Darren truly does. Even though it was online, the whole process felt personal, professional, and very reassuring. I’d highly recommend AuDHD Psychiatry and Dr Darren to anyone seeking thoughtful and specialist support.
I had an incredible experience with AuDHD Psychiatry and highly recommend them. For anyone struggling with the long waits for an ADHD diagnosis on the NHS, this is the perfect solution. The speed of the process was a breath of fresh air. I was able to get my diagnosis and start my medication in a fraction of the time it would have taken elsewhere. Not only was it fast, but the service was also the most affordable I could find among private providers. Dr. O'Reilly and the team are fantastic—genuinely kind, friendly, and comforting throughout the entire journey. The process of getting assessed and managing my medication was made incredibly easy and stress-free. From the first contact, everything was completely transparent. They were open about the process, the costs, and every step along the way, so I always knew what to expect. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding care and for making this such a positive experience.
I recently had an ADHD assessment with Dr Darren O’Reilly, and I can honestly say the experience was very positive. From the very beginning, Darren was extremely approachable and easy to talk to, which immediately helped put me at ease. Assessments can often feel daunting, but his calm and personal approach made the whole process much more comfortable. He took the time to listen carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure I felt understood throughout. It never felt rushed or clinical – instead, Darren created an environment where I could speak openly and honestly about my experiences. I really appreciated how personal and supportive he was, which made what could have been a stressful process feel reassuring and constructive. I would highly recommend Darren to anyone considering an ADHD assessment.
I’m a mature Russell Group student who had been stuck on the NHS ADHD waiting list for ages, so I went private with AuDHD Psychiatry and I’m so glad I did. From my free Teams pre-consultation with Dr Darren O’Reilly to the screening, follow-up with the specialist nurse, and final call from their pharmacist, every step was professional, friendly, and reassuring. Dr O’Reilly made me feel genuinely heard and validated — a real lightbulb moment — and the nurse tailored my medication to my lifestyle while easing my concerns about meds. They’re competitively priced, easy to book with, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend — if you’re unsure, try their free consultation. To DR Darren & the team - huge THANK YOU from me!
The support I received from ADHD Degree has been a game-changer for me — after (too many) years of questioning my own capacities as a leader in my field and as CEO (even though 25% of CEO’s have dyslexia and/or ADHD), my diagnosis and ongoing support has helped me understand how to best manage my high-level workload. The entire process was surprisingly straightforward — from my initial contact discussion, leading to the (often challenging for me) pre-assessment forms which were simple to get through via clear emails with easy links to their online forms, right through to my private online 1-1 assessment. Most importantly, even though the online assessment was thorough, I felt like I was in a calm, supportive and even friendly chat with Darren, rather than what I feared might turn into a more clinical “failure” focused appointment. Instead, Darren offered his supportive warmth and compassionate approach, and I left my assessment feeling understood — finally! Not only is (Dr.) Darren highly knowledgeable, he makes it easy to discuss personal challenges with ADHD. So if you are considering an assessment, I highly recommend ADHD Degree for their professionalism, kindness, and life-changing guiding support.
I had a really positive experience with ADHDdegree for my ADHD assessment. The whole process was straightforward, and Darren made it easy to talk through everything. He really took the time to understand my struggles, from childhood to now, and explained everything clearly. Since starting treatment, I’ve found it so much easier to stay focused and manage my uni workload. I’m not constantly playing catch-up anymore, and things just feel more manageable. If you’re struggling and think ADHD might be a factor, I’d definitely recommend ADHDdegree – they’ve been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole process
