Overall the company offers great services but I had the experience of having a counselor who didn't represent WIT very well. My original counselor left and and was geeat however I was then transferred to another counselor who has a demeanor which comes off as slightly untrustworthy, like she may just want to get her units/time in vs helping create a solid plan. The program director didnt seem to kind either...both dont seem too personal or soft. Hopefully programs understand soft skills are so important for employees to have when you are talking to peoole who are vulnerable, dealing with abuse, have children etc and opening up for help from a stranger initially.
This is very resourceful place to receive help ,If you are dealing with Domestic violence from abuse from any defendant!

I was counsiled by Hero (Etto) at WIT about 7 years ago for emotional and financial abuse. It was such a comforting and safe place to talk about my feelings and to know that there's a process to go through to get to the other side. Hero (Etto) was so very helpful and wonderful and I would recommend WIT to any woman left feeling lost, afraid, and vulnerable as a result of being in an abusive relationship. You are not alone.
