Absolutely terrible place to go to for psychiatry. Nurse practitioner says at the end of the appointment that my partners necessary medication he is out of was sent to the pharmacy, only for us to call the pharmacy a few hours later to check the status and find it was never sent in. Then both locations I called (including this one) tell us that the medical assistance team have already left for the day (the email he received from thriveworks also states the medical assistance team leaves on Saturday’s at 4 pm, not 12 pm) so there’s nothing that can be done in terms of calling in his medication. Absolutely absurd that we were told prior to this appointment that his medication would be able to be refilled if deemed appropriate by the practitioner (which it was), then all of a sudden it’s not their problem that their team has already left; if his prescription was called in after the appointment, it would’ve been sent to the pharmacy and they would have been able to provide his needed medication. Won’t be going back here.
I'm fairly new patient here but I feel comfortable with my therapist. She listens and is very empathetic. I look forward to more therapy sessions. The best part is I am in the comfort of my home. My safe place to express myself freely. Please don't be afraid to seek guidance or just a listening ear.
My therapist Marie Moriarty-Puggi is the best therapist in the world. She is very knowledgeable and caring. Most of all she pays attention and remembers what we talked about each session. I would and have been recommending her to everyone who needs a therapist. Sh deserves more than 5 stars. She is the true definition of what a therapist is and everyone could learn from her. I can’t thank you enough but you earn your flowers while you are here. Team Marie always
FRAUDULENT BILLING!!!! I had the worst experience at Thriveworks and continue to deal with the repercussions months later. I received virtual services and it was a headache from start to finish. They lack consistency in care which is alarming. They also engage in unethical and fraudulent billing. I received a huge bill with no explanation months after the conclusion of my services. They outsource their billing/customer service to a third party. When trying to to explain and dispute the charges the customer service people were like, “Okay…so do you want to pay on a credit card?” after telling them multiple times that the charges were false. My insurance disputed it and I was assured nothing else was due. I received another bill about a month later. This was extremely distressing after already having a less than desirable experience with the abrupt end of services. This company does not care anyone’s well-being. They are looking for a quick buck and will lie, cheat and steal to get it. If you’re looking for quality care and great customer service, leave this page immediately and get a referral from a reputable mental health professional. If you’re receiving services now, I highly recommend contacting your insurance company for the next steps. Don’t get scammed by this unethical, greed stricken organization.(Please see the lovely email I received stating the closed my account. Clearly they didn’t if they sent me another bill a month later😄😄😄😄😄😄)
Thriveworks stands out as an exceptional company, offering a wide array of options to suit individual needs. Their customer service is top-notch, with representatives who are informative, patient, and knowledgeable, making the entire process seamless. The user-friendly portal adds to the positive experience. Cristina, a therapist at Thriveworks, is incredible, intuitive, patient, and compassionate, with a clear understanding of her craft. Overall, Thriveworks is highly recommended, with the understanding that everyone's journey is unique, but taking that initial step is what truly matters.
I had a very good therapist with them She was very understanding and i immediately felt comfortable talking to her during our first session but thriveworks was overcharging my mother and they’re very foul for how they handle payments beginning of the year i sent them my insurance and they tell me it’s inactive and thriveworks puts it as self pay and charges my mom $400 my mom calls our insurance they’re telling us our insurance is fine we recieved no refund We were charged an $135 no-show fee because i could not log onto my appointment on zoom due to storms that caused an outage in our area we were told there was nothing they could do about that a couple days later some how they add $75 to our balance that we did not owe all the $25 fees for previous appointments were already paid i get an email of the billing statement everytime they charge my moms card there’s no reason we should have owed $75 and they still took that $75 they are rip offs they may have good therapists but it’s not really worth it because they’re just gonna steal your money and there are many other people with similar experiences with how thriveworks handles their payments
My son is seeing Miss A as he now calls her. (ASIA) if her name. We have only had one appointment so far but after that appointment my son kept asking to speak to her everyday. He also asked if she could come to his school and if he could go to her house. Knowing my son was very nervous he opened up and was able to connect to her in some way which felt amazing. He and myself can't wait for our next session and hopefully many more to come. Thank you for helping me and my son through this mental health journey you are a rockstar and a great blessing!
My therapist Marie is great. She is able to assist me with my issues and assist me in utilizing coping skills. It feels like I'm talking to a friend. I am able to fully be my authentic self when I am in session with her. I have been able to increase my self-esteem with her assisting me with coping skills and a different perception of my issues. I would highly recommend Marie as a therapist.
Excellent therapy… I truly enjoy expressing my thoughts to my therapist. She has great communication skills. She explains everything very well. She’s on point expressing what she wants me to complete. She is someone that cares and that means a lot to me. Thank you for taking time to listen. Thank you Ms. Christina Taymullah
I have had a great experience with Dr Alan Goldberg. His expertise has been invaluable to me. It is clear that he genuinely cares about his patients. Thrive Works has been great as well. Appointments are easy to make, insurance is accepted, phone wait times are minimal, reminder emails are sent. They manage to have new patients seen within 24 hours, which is an excellent and important service. Highly recommended.
