They are an extremely unprofessional organization with unprofessional providers. These people should not be in the healthcare field, let alone the mental health field. They lack the training and skill it takes to assist. They provide no real help. Their providers will cancel your appointments with no notification at the last mintue. The customer service representatives are very insensitve and untrained to manage individuals seeking mental health help. They are rude and disrepectful. They are no supervisiors to talk too. They place you on hold for 20 minutes at a time and when they are on the phone there is always loud noise and people in the background. It has been immensely disappointing dealing with them and they refuse to delete my account and personal information from their system. Thriveworks is not to be trusted with handling individuals seeking help for therapy.
Absolutely terrible place to go to for psychiatry. Nurse practitioner says at the end of the appointment that my partners necessary medication he is out of was sent to the pharmacy, only for us to call the pharmacy a few hours later to check the status and find it was never sent in. Then both locations I called (including this one) tell us that the medical assistance team have already left for the day (the email he received from thriveworks also states the medical assistance team leaves on Saturday’s at 4 pm) so there’s nothing that can be done in terms of calling in his medication. Absolutely absurd that we were told prior to this appointment that his medication would be able to be refilled if deemed appropriate by the practitioner (which it was), then all of a sudden it’s not their problem that their team has already left; if his prescription was called in after the appointment, it would’ve been sent to the pharmacy and they would have been able to provide his needed medication. Won’t be going back here.
My visit with Mr Thomas is really good im very comfortable talking with him. He has an amazing personality and is very easy to t!lk with. Im happy that I made the decision to come in to the office Thank you
It was nice to talk someone else, about my problems. UPDATE 12/15/2025 December 15th. Update on thrivesworks review billing department sucks. They charged my credit card two hundred and twenty dollars, and never billed my medical. I checked with keystone sixty five, and they are in network. I will not be using them again. I don't know if this is a scam with their billing department but no sooner Then, I had my appointment on december twelfth. They billed me on december thirteenth. Don't trust this company. 12/16/2025 UPDATE I CALLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY. KEYSTONE SIXTY FIVE THEY DID A CONFERENCE CALL WITH THRIVEWORKS AND I FINE OUT THAT THEY NEVER FILED A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE. NOT SURE IF THIS IS A MISTAKE OR A SCAM TO GET MONEY OUT OF YOU. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN APOLOGY OR A REFUND.I AM CALLING MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND TELLING THEM TO PUT THEM DOWN AS A SCAM ALERT.
They told me the therapist would be able to help me with attention problems and as soon as I got in the video call with the therapist he said he couldn’t help. Stay away from here!!!! They charged me $395 for nothing
Alyssa Smith is an amazing therapist, truthfully, I thought it would be hard because of our age difference but she’s very capable, soft and stern approach yet goal oriented. Just what I believe I needed, I’ll keep you posted.
I recently have been charged a significant amount of money even though I have not been a patient in over a year. The billing department is unresponsive making it very difficult to understand why they are charging my credit card. I would recommend finding counseling services elsewhere, since multiple people seem to have issues with their billing department.
I see Karl every week or every other week and he is awesome. I was very hesitant to do online sessions because I was so used to doing in person but he has made it worth it to switch. He is very understanding and compassionate and super relatable as well. I am glad that I decided to make therapy a regular thing and I’m so grateful to have found a therapist like him.
I started working with Aminata a few months ago, and she has been nothing but exceptional. She is very professional, compassionate, and has helped me so much already in pursuing my growth and healing journey. I couldn't recommend her enough.
My first season with Aminata was probably the best therapy session I’ve had in a long time. I felt comfortable, heard and understood. She communicated clearly up front and followed through. The conversation was more organic than my last experience. I appreciated the good energy and safe space provided.
