I met with Meghan Manangón to get a medication evaluation. She was very professional, kind and informative. I've met with Therapy for Women before for general therapy services and they have always been a great place to be seen. I highly recommend.
I’ve only taken a few sessions so far but i can genuinely say i’ve found the help i’ve been looking for already. i put my faith first and i’ve been receiving so much confirmation from my therapist. i love that she doesn’t give me answers, she doesn’t give me tools, I just talk and she asks questions that allow me to analyze what’s being brought up. i can see myself being her for a while. i have my first in person session soon and im excited. for people new to therapy, this is a great place to start!
I love the therapist I work with through Therapy for Women Center. She is knowledgeable and helpful while also being kind and genuine. Therapy for Women Center was helpful in placing me with a therapist that specialized in the areas I needed help with. They are easy to work with and communication is always quick. I've been working with them for 4 years now and have no plans to leave!
I’ve been in therapy with therapy for women center since January of 2022. I see my therapist every week and it’s always one of my favorite hours of the week. I have been able to learn about myself, challenge and change my bad habits, and grow into who I want to be as I navigate being a young adult. These guys are the best, cannot recommend enough!!
This is a great office. It is a joy to come to not just because its aesthetically pleasing but also feels private and safe. There are a lot of, what seems to me to be, very qualified women to choose from, depending on needs. On a personal level, I can absolutely vouch for how wonderful my therapist is and how much perspective and growth she has gently guided me through.
I’ve been working with my therapist Hannah off and on for over 2 years. She is fantastic, and everyone I worked with at the beginning while I was looking to get matched with the right therapist were all very helpful and caring. I’d recommend Therapy for Women Center to any of my friends looking to meet with a mental health professional!
I had not been in therapy for almost 10 yr when I found myself having a terrible time with a work transition. I needed professional support. So far, I have had 4 sessions with Beth at the Old City office and it is going so well. Her demeanor is calm and nurturing. She is so perceptive and has an incredible ability to ask follow up questions that unexpectedly challenge me to talk about things I didn't think I would talk about. My last session was really impactful. I believe that if I continue therapy with Beth I will be able to make a big change, one that I have needed to do for a long time but was too embarrassed to admit it.
i am still quite new here, and i honestly never leave an early review on a place - i like to make sure my review stands to how i really feel about a place. this place is different, i’ve never felt such reassuring comfort in my life. i actually was desperately talking to chat gpt about what to do and if there were any local therapists that specialize in trauma therapy in philly that had great reviews and were local enough for me to get myself to. chat came up with a list for me and this facility was near the top. i remember reading through and making the tough decision to go ahead with aleks (tough decision because everyone seemed amazing honestly). it’s been over a month of therapy now, and i know it’s safe to say i found someone who believes in me and my journey. someone who is really helping me and going to continue that with me. i found myself needing extra right now and that is what we are doing. it’s the best. it’s been resolving things for me already that i’ve never thought through before and allowing me to be more genuine to myself. the whys the hows the everythings… it is all coming up and being figured out. and it’s hard, but it’s great. my life is going to be different after this place. thank you aleks 🫶🏼
If you are just discovering this practice and not sure if it is the right place for you. I recommend checking out their podcast! That's how I discovered them and then was so happy to see they have providers that can do telehealth all over the US. I personally worked with Kelly for the past year and a half and although I'm in a place where I can step away from therapy (all thanks to all the hard work we did together). I definitely wouldn't be feeling the way I do about myself and my unique world without giving in to all that therapy can offer. I started this as a skeptic and can honestly say it has been worth every tear, time, and dollar spent!
Jess is an exceptional therapist! She is so in tune each and every session- from noticing my body language, picking up on my thoughts and words, and giving me a safe place to heal. She has literally changed my life!
