Therapy for Women is an incredible resource for clients who want to feel empowered and supported in their personal growth. Their team not only creates a safe and validating environment, but also equips clients with practical strategies to build resilience and confidence. As a therapist, I’m always reassured knowing that referrals will receive care that is both compassionate and transformative.
My session lasted 15 minutes and they still charged me for a full session. The therapist was not willing to have my family complete the intake and consent forms on the spot like I previously did. I’m giving them 2 stars because Amanda is great on Instagram with boundary setting.
I cannot say enough good things about this place, for both therapy and psychiatry services. My therapist Jess was instrumental in the progress I've been able to make and Dr. Eli is a thoughtful psychiatrist who takes his time and gets to know you as a person. I am so thankful for Therapy for Women Center and I recommend them to people all the time!!
I sought this group out bc of the founder and was matched with an amazing therapist Jessica. She is intuitive, highly knowledgeable and educated in her field. With her assistance, I have been able to facilitate a significant amount of change in my life. Her support and willingness to go above and beyond has been life changing. Knowing she is there and supportive has meant more to me than she will ever know. I highly recommend this group to anyone who inquires.
This group was recommended to me by a friend and her street cred just got more valuable! Ashley has been great to work with! She has met me where I am and has always made me feel safe, seen and heard. We started with walk and talk therapy while the weather was still warm and I think it helped my first experience with therapy get off to a smooth start.
I have been with Therapy for Women for about a year and a half. I can honestly say it saved me. From the time I inquired for a therapist to now I've had nothing but a positive and helpful experience. After filling out their form they reviewed my concerns and actually matched me with a therapist they thought could better suit my needs. I've stayed with that therapist, Arielle, since then. I've been to both offices in Bala Cynwd and Old City, both are welcoming and relaxing. I think that helps take the edge off of some anxiety that comes with therapy. Arielle is amazing and I truly am so grateful to have a therapist who is understanding and clicks with me. Overall I've had a lovely experience with Therapy for Women and would recommend to all.
I found this center when I needed it most in life. They matched me with a few therapists in which I reached out to one. First time was a charm. Aleks is a phenomenal therapist. The center itself is very quick to act if you need anything. I see a psychiatrist within the practice as well and he too is amazing. They just genuinely care about their patients. You don’t feel like a time slot to them. Highly recommend if you are contemplating any type of mental health assistance/therapy.
I have had an incredibly positive experience overall. My therapist, Jess, is phenomenal and the system of scheduling and sitting appointments is extremely easy to use. I love the reminders texts and emails and always have found the video call system to be easy to use and functional. So glad I found Therapy for Women!
I have been a routine client for 4 years and owe it to TFW for helping me live my best life. Stephanie, Melissa and Dr. Eli are a dream to work with. Office logistics, making appointments, refilling prescriptions, and requesting documents are all very user friendly. I would rate this practice 1000/10 if I could :)
My partner and I have been doing couples therapy here for a while now and we have been thoroughly impressed by the overall experience at this place. They were a lot more responsive initially than other places that I reached out to and more importantly, we are making progress. Highly recommend if you're looking for a professional but welcoming practice with great therapists.
