Ive been working with Laura Hoffman on and off for about 20 years, and I can honestly say she is an exceptional therapist. She has an amazing ability to understand exactly what I need from out sessions, even when I cant quite put it into words myself. Over the years Laura has guided me through many different chapters of my life with compassion, insight and a style that always feels personal and attuned to me. Laura has a rare gift for creating a safe comfortable space while still gently challenging me to grow. Im so grateful for her support and the perspective she helped me build. If youre looking for a therapist who truly listens, understands and tailors therapy to your unique needs, I can not recommend Laura Hoffman highly enough.
I've had a number of psychiatrist and therapists in the past, but none had show the expertise of the clinicians here. Their team is supportive, diligent, and flexible. My mental health and life in general has improved by leaps and bounds since working with this team.
I joined the women’s support group during a really difficult time, and it was truly life-changing. The space felt safe, supportive, and I was able to learn so much about myself and managing OCD as a new mom. Laura is so kind, super knowledgeable, and created a sense of community that I didn’t even realize I needed. I’m so grateful for Laura, this group, and the connection it brought into my life!
Laura is always able to put me at ease by allowing me to feef the way I feel and explaining the process of the brain at a level which I can relate to my situations She always provides "tools" to get me through very difficult life experiences She sincerely cares about me.
We have been meeting with Laura Hoffman at The Art of wellness for over a year. Laura was amazing, supportive, and compassionate from the very first meeting with my daughter. Her knowledge and guidance has made a huge impact in growth, achievement, and success with my daughter. We have also been meeting with Dr. Johanna Beck. Dr. Beck was also kind, compassionate and understanding with my daughter. Both Laura and Dr. Beck work together in a positive manner to help my daughter and our family . If you’re thinking about therapy for any reason, definitely reach out to The Art of Wellness.
Since starting therapy at 11 years old, I have definitely seen my fair share of therapists and psychiatrists. I, honestly, rarely had a positive experience. At The Art of Wellness, Laura Hoffman and Dr. Paul Joseph Resignato are the two most intelligent, compassionate, and well-versed in the field that I have ever come across. Laura has been my therapist for about 2 years now and she has changed my entire outlook on life, and even my life itself. Dr. Resignato has been my psychiatrist for about 4 years now, and I have never been able to have my medication as stable as I do right now. I could literally go on and on about my love for these 2 folks as practitioners, but also as humans. Thank you guys so much for everything!
Laura Hoffman, LCSW sets the gold standard of her profession with her work as a therapist. Laura is highly sophisticated and adept at helping patients navigate through the tricky waters of this life. She is one of the most brilliant and talented people I have ever met, and I can’t believe how lucky I am to know her (or quite frankly, to even get an appointment with her.) Over the years, Laura has provided me with the insights, tools, and encouragement I needed to release whatever it was that was holding me back from achieving my goals. Therapy is challenging work, but Laura makes it approachable by how she leads with patience, compassion, and honesty. As a result of my work with her, I live a life now that that is better than I could have imagined and is totally authentic to who I am. Laura is a gift to this world. She certainly has been to me.
We have had an excellent experience with Laura Hoffman who has been exceedingly supportive, compassionate and empathic to our daughter and her mental health struggles. Her knowledge in helping her face her challenges head on is exceptional and has provided opportunities for growth and understanding. Laura goes above and beyond, making our daughter feel assured, safe and listened to. We have seen our daughter progress through ups and downs with the development of effective acknowledgment and coping skills that she can rely on to help her through tough times. Laura is extremely reliable, consistent and open. She has provide our family with the stability we were looking for and needing in helping our daughter understand and work on her mental health challenges. We attribute our daughters overall advancement to Laura’s dedication, patience and professionalism in providing the utmost care and attention to her well being.
Compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, personable, consistent, present, honest, and loving. These are the words that immediately come to mind when I think of Laura Hoffman. She is an AMAZINGLY skilled therapist who has the unique ability to enter into your universe with you, walk with you through your journey, and support you in a way that is nothing short of miraculous. She is a therapeutic gift. Laura is able to weave in and blend therapeutic ideologies with real life examples. It’s like having a raw conversation with you brilliant and compassionate best friend.
I have been working with Laura Hoffman for over 20 years. To say that I wouldn't be where I am today without her (and the work we have done together) would be a gross understatement. She has helped me work through deep seated trauma and my life is so much better for it. Laura is unlike the 'traditional' therapist - she truly sees you for who you are and creates a space where the most vulnerable facets of one's life are held with utmost care and support. Her empathy is authentic and is what makes her feel more like a close friend, but her professionalism and experience are what make her an amazing resource to have in your corner. If you are looking for a therapist who can actually help you change your life, look no further.
