Really good, very helpful and would highly recommend
Going in, my kid has some sensory stuff and I had no idea how testing sessions would land. The evaluator paced things in a way that worked for us, took breaks when needed, and never made anything feel rushed. That alone made the whole thing easier than I expected for a Saturday afternoon appointment around the holiday week. The waiting area really felt more like someone's living room than a clinic, which helped settle the nerves before we even got called back. There were some plants tucked in by the window and the chairs were comfortable enough that the little ones didn't get squirmy. The report itself came within the timeframe they promised at intake, and reading through it actually made sense. Concrete observations, school accommodation suggestions we can actually bring to the IEP meeting, and a clear picture of where the strengths are. No jargon dumped on us without explanation. The feedback session walked through everything at a pace that let me ask questions as they came up. Cost was laid out clearly from the start, around what we were quoted on the phone, no surprise add ons after the fact. The front office answered emails within a day every time, which mattered when paperwork felt overwhelming. They flagged a couple of accommodations I hadn't thought to ask about and were upfront about what insurance would and wouldn't touch. Walking out with answers after years of guessing meant a lot, and the people there made the whole process feel manageable instead of clinical.
I had a wonderful experience at Sachs Center in Philadelphia. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and professional. They made me feel comfortable and understood from the very first visit.
Cost was laid out plainly upfront, no surprises later. For families with older kids who have been stuck in the same loop we were, this was the place that finally moved things forward. Worth the drive into Center City.
Great place ๐
Picked this place after a referral from a parent in my building, and the intake call alone made me feel like the search was finally over. Booking took a few weeks but the front desk was responsive over email every time I followed up.
I had an ADHD evaluation done with the Sachs Center and I was very pleased with the experience. Dr. Krauss was extremely thorough and considered all of the ways I have been able to mask and compensate for my struggles when arriving at the diagnosis. My primary care physician wanted me to get a second opinion, and Dr. Krauss' assessment ended up being significantly more detailed/thorough than the psychiatrist I saw later on.
Excellent service. Very attentive to your needs as a patient.
So incredibly eye-opening and helpful! I recommend the Sachs Center clinic for anyone looking for a deeply informational and professional experience with psychologists, who will help you along the way. No matter your unique and individual experience, the professionals at Sachs will be compassionate and helpful at every step. Thank you so much for this opportunity to understand myself better and grow independently towards my goals! Thank you, Kristen Buigas!
Warm, accommodating, efficient process. My psychologist was clearly an expert in the field of neurodivergence. The outcome of the evaluation was nothing short of life-changing. The follow-up materials and guidance left me feeling very supported. Highest recommendations.
