Dr. Nalabadian assisted me in the past with managing some major life changes for over a year and I really connected with her approach. I honestly trusted her, I highly valued her feedback, and truly appreciated her assistance. However, after recently going through some new, very traumatic life changes, I reached out by email. Several days to a week later, she finally returned a response. In that correspondence, she stated she no longer accepts insurance. She is no longer easily available since she stated she could only meet some evenings and Sunday afternoons. After trying to agree by email on a fair price per visit, she also didn't return my several requests with respect to making an appointment. I guess what I could barely afford to pay at the time wasn't enough. She could have easily arranged to have a quick phone discussion about making an appointment, negotiate prices, or just be kind and refer me to another professional but, she didn't. In fact, I still have not gotten a response more than 8 months later. While I'd love to give her a 5 star review, I can only give her 2 stars since she left me to start over and try finding a new doctor to establish a connection with and to trust...which could take a very long time. Really disappointed after investing so much time and hard earned money seeing her just to start all over again with someone new. Definitely not professional behavior from a behavior professional!!
I have worked with Lara in the past with depression and anxiety. She always made me feel like I was talking to a friend rather than a psychologist. She is very caring and understanding.
