In the time I have known Dr. Deussing, he has demonstrated an uncanny ability to bring people together and inspire those around him. He does all this while sharing his wealth of clinical knowledge and integrating theories that are often seen as oppositional to one another. Whether you are considering attending one of his many presentations or seeking psychotherapy for yourself, I encourage you to do both. He is deeply caring person who clearly is out to help others. I look forward to collaborating with him in the future.
Dr. Deussing is a very knowledgeable and experienced person. As such, his unique background allows him to be able to relate to his patients such as myself in a way where "therapy" doesn't really feel like therapy. It feels like a conversation among friends and that goes a long way towards trust in his words of advice. He's been able to help me navigate tremendous hardships and complications due to my condition, and compared to my previous providers, he makes it seem effortless. I put my full faith and confidence in Dr D and it's never stopped paying dividends.
I cannot say enough about the life-changing support I received at Integrative DBT & Psychotherapy. Every caregiver treated me with compassion, professionalism, and deep insight that made me feel truly seen and understood. The model of group and individual therapy is very effective. I finally feel hopeful, grounded, and equipped to move forward after years of struggling.
Dr. Deussing is highly skilled and knowledgeable. He cares deeply about the individuals he works with. His passion for helping others is seen in his roles as a clinician, educator, and mentor.
Great practice for folks who want to learn DBT skills but don't want to work within the traditional limitation! Admin staff and counseling staff are very lovely. I was very pleased with my experiences at Integrative DBT!
Dr. Deussing is an incredible clinician and cares deeply about his patients. He is smart, compassionate, wise and has extensive training in multiple schools of therapy. I highly recommend him and his group. He has worked wonders for many clients.
Strong clinicians with a DBT centered approach that is both skillful and flexible.
