Terrible place, very unprofessional and rude staff. My son was told to go there for a drug evaluation for court. He went there 3 times and each time he went they had an excuse on why he couldn’t be seen. They tell you, oh we do walking from 9-2pm. Soon as you walk in they say you need an appointment, then you get an appointment and go back to hear we don’t have intake at this location. They full of ish there and nobody wants to work. I do not recommend. In fact I’m think I’m going to file a complaint with the BBB and the state.

Groups are good, patients are respectful. I would recommend this treatment center for anyone trying to get and stay sober...

Dont go here if you want a drug and alcohol evaluation, the woman who does them is extremely rude and dismissive. I asked her multiple questions to which she either ignored or got upset at me for asking. She made multiple snide remarks towards me and gave off the impression that she did not care about my well being at all. I am not paying $150 for some miserable woman to treat me this way. You can tell she thinks poorly of those who use or are addicted and her attitude comes off as though she thinks these people are below her. If that is not the case, then maybe she should evaluate how she portrays herself to others. Incredibly unprofessional for a place that deals with people that are unwell. Have some grace.

Just a few days ago they kicked my friend out in the middle of the night in the cold and rain. Would not let her wait for a ride inside. She almost died and is still in the hospital. Great job guys. Apparently they act helpful at first, but once you’re alone and vulnerable they treat you like scum. My heart breaks for anyone who needs help and gets treated poorly from the ones who are supposed to help. Keep searching, there is actual help out there.

I signed up for outpatient treatment and the staff was very friendly very helpful and my therapistMr. Derek) a good dude, very understanding never looked down on me because of my alcohol and powdered cocaine addiction. Unfortunately, my addictions got the best of me and I relapsed and didn't return.I was so ashamed of myself I didn't want to show my face and went back to boozing and now thankfully I'm finally getting help that I need. I was admitted to Jefferson Hospital suffering from severe alcohol withdrawal syndrome, borderline experiencing auditory hallucinations. I was also suffering from gait abnormality and balance and coordination issues so they transferred me to Wyndmoor Hills for Physical therapy and once I'm discharged well before I'm discharged, I'll pick a rehab facility for inpatient treatment.Wish me luck.

Avoid this place at all costs. The people don’t have any idea what they’re doing and they only care about themselves. They will not even try to work with you, nor will they even provide any information in writing for you believing you will “manipulate” their emails. Couldn’t even get a CC on the email I requested to be sent. Again this place is a joke. They don’t return phone calls and lie saying they’re “very busy”. Yea I’m also very busy, but I can manage my time and my schedule to make a quick phone call. The receptionist had no idea what the courses I needed were either. Gaudenzia is the cause of people relapsing. Stay away at all costs. I’m sure they’ll never send the email or take 5 months before it’s even sent, because they’re “so busy”

STAFF ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING SURE THERE NUMBERS AND CLIENTS ARE MATCHING UP FOR THEM TO COLLECT INSURANCE WHEN WHOLE TIME THEY TREAT U LIKE TRASH SMH IF THE STATE CAME IN THIS FACILITY AND SAW FIRST HAND THE CONDITIONS NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE WAY THEY SPEAK TO INDIVIDUALS WOULD BE OUTRAGEOUS

I myself had an amazing experience at Gaudenzia from the moment I walked in the door everyone was very welcoming and extremely concerned for my overall well being not just my detox but also my mental state seeing that detoxing from Fentanyl and opiates takes a definite toll on my mental health as well. I found ALL the nurses to be extremely efficient and very well trained and the nurses at Gaudenzia actually really cared about how I was feeling mentally, emotionally and physically and took the time to talk to me about how I was feeling and if I was feeling safe and cared for in their family setting. My Social worker was Ms. Carnita Washington and when I was asked NOT TOLD to go and speak with her I was still experiencing withdrawal seeing it was only my second day and after sitting and talking with her I felt emotionally and physically SO much better! I've sat with many Social workers and have never felt that even one cared at all about what I was going through until a few seconds into speaking with Ms. Washington, she really cared and was very encouraging about my detox and my recovery.. The house managers were amazing as well! Each one took the time to make sure I was eating and getting on well and when I wasn't feeling confident about myself and my recovery they could just tell and took their time to talk with me and to remind me that I do have the strength to continue with what I started. I felt not only cared for but actually loved, yes I said loved! When no other facility would take me they did and all I had to do was ring the bell at the front door, oh and it was 3 am when they welcomed me in and fed me and made sure I had everything that I needed ❤️ made me very well aware of my rights as a client (which had never happened before) and after my completion staff personally walked me out, hugged me and told me that they're there if I needed them again and again ❤️ Between their professionalism and real concern and care I give Gaudenzia a five star review! I've had a rough go through addiction and have been to many detox facilities throughout the last 20 plus years and can honestly say that I found Gaudenzia to be the absolute best! If it's either you or a loved one who wants to detox and get their life back this is the place to find firm grounding into recovery! YOU can do it, you'd be very surprised to find out just how strong you really are when you have amazing people in your life. All you need to do is dig deep and find yourself again, you're still in there, I promise you ❤️ Gaudenzia will personally help you in every way, just go and do it! I cannot thank them all enough for helping me reclaim my life❤️
