Always reliable when I need to refer someone; Bridgett has a good team that's well trained. One of my go-to places when someone is looking for a quality therapist!

I know Bridgett to be a kind, thoughtful therapist. I refer to her frequently and have only had positive experiences. She is an active contributor to the psychotherapy community and I am grateful to have been able to collaborate with her.

Had a horrible experience with Bridget Bollin. Started therapy to work on one set of issues in the past and instead of focusing on that, she started diverting attention to issues that I did not find relevant and when I brought up the idea that she is missing the point, she started lashing out and insisting on Her focus areas and pathologizing me stating that I had blind spots and that my lifestyle was unhealthy. Then when I brought up this hateful expression of hers due to my mild challenging of her interventions, she decided to drop me as a client! I asked her how she deals with resistance from the client in therapy and if force-feeding interpretations and her so-called 'assessments' of my having an 'unhealthy' lifestyle was the best way to deal with it. She said that she was not ready to be quizzed and that I was trying to be her therapist! All of this happened in just 6 sessions. Flashy profile, so-called 15 years of experience and supposed years of training in psychoanalysis/psychotherapy and yet nothing but fragility, narcissism, hate and likely racism to show for. Utterly useless. She will decide your goals and run your therapy instead of empowering you and if you resist, she will simply drop you, blame you and will end up making things worse for you overall. I am pretty confident after this experience that Bridget needs far more help than I do! After I complained to the practice, I didn't hear anything from them as well. Avoid this therapist and practice at all costs.
