Dr. Carpenter is a superb therapist in every sense of the word. She listens attentively and works collaboratively with you. Her heartfelt integrity and professionalism combined with the ability to design diagnosis specific therapeutic intervention(s) makes her an outstanding healer.

Bonnie is full of empathy and insight. It is apparent from the moment you speak with Bonnie that she truly cares about you. She listens intently and draws upon her many years of professional experience and knowledge to offer you great advice, ideas and points of view. Bonnie also is extremely learned in multiple schools of knowledge and disciplines, including homeopathetic medicine and hypnotherapy. She must have 500 books in her library, which she has read to help her help her patients. She has become a trusted friend and I could not recommend her more.

This counselor is completely lacking in multicultural competence, sensitivity, and adaptability. She routinely pathologizes diversity, including differences in culture (especially collectivism), body size, and lifestyle. She has made multiple judgmental and extremely crude/inappropriate comments about my body, family structure, and cultural values. I always left her office feeling judged for not conforming to the values and standards she imposed on my life and for not thriving through her one-size-fits-all approach to mental health.
